My breast milk supply seems to have reduced significantly after i suffered from a recent bout of fever/cold, even though i cotinued nursing through the illness. Inspite of trying to pump and nurse regularly, supply not improving..any suggestions

There are really great suggestions above my post. I would like to second the drinking plenty of liquids. I would also like to add get plenty of rest and nurse, nurse , nurse. YOu could try a temporary nursing vacation just take a few days off and nurse all day while in bed or resting on the couch. your mlk supply will go up.
You could also try eating a bowl of oatmeal daily.

Call your local La Leche League there are mothers there that you will enjoy getting to know :D

That is because you became dehydrated from the fever.. Start drinking liquids. Here is a site that suggests milk thistle and some other herbs to help.

If your baby is making enough wet and poopy diapers you are making plenty of milk. Lots of things can make you think you don't have enough milk, when really you do.
