I would say yes definately faster flow, sippy cup no not for another couple of months and loosening the nipple will just make a mess however make sure it is not too tight or it will airlock and cause the same problem. As far as the response about letting the air in not sure what planet shes from cause the las time I looked you definately dont want air in the bottle. Just get the next flow if you use Avent try the variable flow they work great.

I had this problem all the time. Even with the fast flow nipples. I switched to the Ventiares and the problem was gone. They let the air back in the bottom of the bottle while the formula comes out the nipple. No bubbles, no nipple collapse.
I tried EVERYTHING to make the bottle we already had work, but had NO luck at all til I switched. Good luck........

my son was doing the same thing, until i read on the internet somewhere that you should unscrew the cap on the bottle a little bit so that the milk comes out a lot easier.
I thought i was doing something wrong....he would get frustrated trying to have a bottle until i did this, and it's great because you can control the flow, ie loosen it up quite a lot for the flow to be a lot quicker, or if you think it's too quick, just tighten it up a little.....it works a treat!

my daughter does this with certain nipples and for me the problem was the material some of the latex nipples tend to cling to themselves when wet for some reason. i got new nipples with the same flow and used the same bottles and she was just fine

Maybe. You don't say how many months your baby is. A slow nipple is for 1-3 months. A medium nipple for 3-6 months and a fast nipple for 6+ months.

she may need a faster flow. they usually go by age when you get them. like-newborn, 0-3 mos, etc. just go by the age your baby is.

I agree with the sippy cup idea. The sooner, the better. Although I had better luck with the cups that had straws.

No.. it means she is not letting air in the bottle. Try getting some Dr. Browns bottles- they allow air in- reduce spit up and colic!

I love them- totally worth the money. You can find them pretty much anywhere- ebay, walmart, etc.
