Lol, it depends on your babies butt. What I ended up doing with my 3 mo. old daughter was buying just about every brand in the smallest package available and give them a try. For my daughter, the Luvs, parents choice, white cloud and pampers all leaked all over the place, so we're pretty much stuck w/ huggies. We've had a few leaks with the huggies, but I guess you'll get that with any diaper. Also, just about every name brand diaper company will enroll you in their coupon program, I get 2 1.50 off any size package from huggies each month. Also ones for wipes and their bath and body line. So we buy two 92 packs of size 2 for about 15 dollars and that usually gets us through. Good luck!

I don't have my own baby but I've watched enough of them and I got to tell you that most families I've worked for used the brand Huggies. They seem to be cheap enough but still high quality. Otherwise, you can just go back to doing what our moms did - a cloth and wash it...I mean, it worked for all of us and it still works for all the babies in the third world! Why not? I know diapers are expensive so I'm not trying to make fun of you with my suggestions. I mean if the kid doesn't go to school and is at home most of the time, what does it matter. Plus the baby is much less likely to get a diaper rash. Hope this helped!

I have the same problem; I don't like paying a lot for diapers but the name brand ones are better. When I have coupons i almost always buy Huggies. If I have to buy cheap it's White Cloud.

I had the same problem. I finally got so fed up with leaks of non brandnames, and no stretch that I went to Costco and got huggies there, I pay $37 for 244 size 3 diapers.

my aunt loves pampers. They have stretchy sides. And are for the most part fairly cheap. I usually have no trouble finding coupons for Pampers either. Huggies always leaked and my aunt hated luvs because my cousin didn't like not having stretchy sides it looked like he had trouble trying to move.

I use Pampers. They are not as cheap as Luvs but like u say they do not stretch so I don't buy them. Remember cheap is not always better!
