My 4 month old daughter had a strange colored stool awhile ago. It was green with bright yellow stringy things in it. I always freak out about her stool because when she was a few weeks old she had blood in her stools and was changed to neocate formula because she has a milk protein allergy. Is this stool normal for any formula fed baby, or is it a sign of a virus?

Is she only drink formula? When my babies start solids their BM's changed. If you are worried call the doctor's office to double check. Better safe than sorry...
Good Luck

You're in the wrong place to ask about this. What you described could be a number of things, some harmless and normal, others serious and abnormal. The right place is a doctor, and the sooner you do so, the better.

Did you recently start her on cereal or jar food? New foods can do that to anyone.
