I'm now in the process of looking for a good and safe car seat for my first baby but have read some user comments about the Flex-Loc. I was looking online to see what it does but could not find any documentation. If you know of any site or if you can explain the difference we will greatly appreciate.

Thanks!

EZlock and Flex-loc are the same thing, Baby Trend released this carseat in 2005 with the EZ lock name but in 2006 they realese it with a new name Flex-Loc but Plain and simple this carseat sucks... the handle is hard to use, the realease handle to remove it from the base is located in the back of the seat (near the babys feet), and also the infant carrier weight from 8 to 10 lbs. The best the products in the market are #1 Chicco, #2 Evenflo, and #3 Combi

I purchased the Flex-Loc carseat by Baby-Trend at toys r us. I will be honest with you. The handle to carry them in is hard to manuever. The two buttons on the handle to push it back are very hard to push in. I have heard the same stories from other friends of mine who purchased the same car seat/stroller combo. Other than that, I like the system. But it sucks when you are trying to get him/her in and out when you cant even get the handle back.
