I have a 6 month old daughter and just last Sunday she did something that made me very proud! She was sitting on her grandmas lap during church and all of a sudden looked up and started saying "DaDa DaDa." Now some people may not think this is some big great thing, but taking into account two things, I think it is great. My husband is the pastor of the church and she looked right at him up on the platform, and this was the first time we had heard her say it!!!!

My 13 month old has just learnt to climb! I am proud of him but also at my wits end as he still hasn't learnt how to get back down with out falling!! He has an activity table that he climbs on top of but doesn't know what to do when he get s up there so just drops back down!
He has also just learnt how to get on and off of his car and claps himself when he does it! In fact he claps himself every time he does something clever!

My almost 4 month old daughter just started rolling over a few days ago! Now she rolls around the floor, getting under the coffee table and everything! I am so proud of her. I don't want her to grow up, but I am excited about her learning to sit up now!

My daughter walked a few steps for the first time two weeks ago. It was 5 days before her 1st birthday, and I nearly cried I was that happy! She's starting to get the hang of it now, though I'm off to buy a gel pack for the inevitable bumps she'll get now! She looks so excited when she manages to walk across to me or her daddy. It warms my heart just thinking about it! Congratulations to your wee one for becoming mobile! x

My 5 month old rolled from one side of the room to the other & got a hold of a business card and a pen. When I took them away from him he acted like a two year old would and started whinning about it. After whinning turn louder I picked him up, kissed him, and said "Wahhhh, life sucks huh?" He laughed in my face and we ended up laughing at each other for about a minute. WHERE DID MY LITTLE BITTY BABY GO?!?!?!?

i have had five my eldest is 18 my youngest is 2, they all make me really proud but the 2 year old learns new things every day that just have me and my family in stitches and i am always really proud because he is just such a character, his new phrase is "guess what daddy" (well it makes me smile) he also hides things and remembers days later where he put it and says all proud of himself "found it " (this is after numerous tantrums untill he remembers) they are just a joy.
