Virtually every half hour I am moving her back into the centre!. I do not want to use 'bumpers'. She currently sleeps in a 'grobag'. Any Suggestions? HELP PLESE!

I am an expecting father in Phoenix. I have a mother with poss. term. cancer (find out March 8) and my ex-girlfriend has a mom in Iowa that used to live in Phx. Her mother went to Iowa to be with family and the ex girlfriend moved with her because I wasn't in a position to take care of all of them. I have a child due April 11 and want desperately to go to Iowa for his birth. I can't set a "date" to go to Iowa because there's no guarantee that I will be there for the birth. I only have a short timeframe to go because 1..I can't afford it or I wouldn't ask for help and 2. I just started this job on the 6th of March. I want to be a good person and do the right thing but I am scared to death it's coming down to the wire. I want do definently do a paternity test and have been told to save on expenses that I can get it done free if it's still done at the hospital. I want to be at the hospital to add my name to the birth certificate. I have already purchased clothes for this baby.

ive taken her to docs this morning as last night she was constantly choking on her own vomit. ive been up all night with her and she is not well at all.

shes vomiting, curling up in a ball showing me her tummy hurts and keeps screaming. i have taking into comcideration that she is also teething.

doc wont give me anything for her and says its prob virus due to change of weather. he also said not to give her solids and milk- only water, as she'll just throw it up.

ive got her home and shes constantly screaming, ive tried everything and its upsetting me that i cant help her.

anyone know how i can try to stop the screaming and stuff? ive given her 2 oz of milk and she took it, plus shes had small amounts of food as i cant starve her, but its not enough.

ive also given her calpol as it will help her teething, if not the poorly tummy and vomiting.

plz what else can i do as she wont let me hold her.

I had a baby on 29th Dec last year and he was fine for five days after his birth. Since then he has cried non stop (and i mean non stop). He has been seen by the doctor who prescribed baby gaviscon for possible reflux and he's also had infacol for colic. He has always brought his wind up really well and its definately not a windy cry. The health visitor suggested possible lactose intolerance so I bought Wysoy and for a whole day things were amazing! It wasn't to last though. After doing everything known to man he is still crying, doc saw him yesterday and examined him. There are no signs of anything wrong. I have also seen a cranial osteopath with him (anythings worth a try!!) No luck there.
After walking round town for a grand total of 20 mins yesterday and being pieces of useless advice (oh, he's hungry!)by nosy parkers I could really use some ideas.
Many thanks for listening to my rant!!
Please note it is definately not colic! going out in the car, buggy or cuddling doesn't work

In your opinion, which is best - a microwave steriliser or a steam steriliser?

I have a microwave which I almost never use which is already taking up room on my work surface, so that would definitely be the best option for space but is a steam cleaner better? And safer?

My son has got two lower teeth. Now is the time for upper ones and he is having a lot of problem than before. He has been in pain since about 1 week now and has completely stopped eating or taking his juice. He simply does not like bottle in his mouth. He does not open his mouth also. He just keeps making noise. He has also become cranky. Day after day this problem is increasing and today he is also clinging to me a lot. His sleep is also getting disturbed.
I have tried to give him medicine but I do not want to do that everyday.
I am giving him homeopathic tablets since he started teething.
No teething rings or teethers, spoon are helping him.
I gave him biscuits which he use to like but now even that is not good enough.
Should I put lemon juice on his gums? How effective is that and what does it do? I personally would not like lemon juice on my swollen gums.
I have also tried putting honey on his gums but this time that is also not effective. I give him my finger to bite on.

When I had my baby they said it would take 8 weeks for the card to come in, its almost been 10 weeks. Is there a number I could call to see if I should have it by now just in case it was lost in the mail. I wouldnt want an illegal citizen to get their hands on it!

slowly and keep sucking. Can someone please help?

A little bit more detail, if needed: It is an orange color right now, but it has been green, yellow, and even PURPLE!! I am just having a hard time getting it to function properly. I thought it was tight, but then it blew.

I tried twisting the top and using my tongue a bit more but it just blows and blows - I never expect it though - sometimes there is a lot of liquid before the sudden burst....

i haven't been getting along with my baby's father at all. i moved home with my mom to have my baby and moved back to my apartment because I just wanted to be alone and my family doesn't help me clean up around the house. my mom wants me to come home because she says I don't need to be by myself because of depression...so now it's just me and my baby at the apartment. Her father doesn't respect me at all.me and her father have officially ended everything today and I feel everything is just going wrong. I never thought that I would be in a situation like this...I'm 22, not married with a child, sitting out from school, don't get along with her dad, everything just seems to be going downhill. my baby has his last name and now I REALLY want to get it changed.......I try to ask him why does he treat me so bad when we have so much to be thankful for. we have a 2 week old baby girl who is perfectly healthy...he curses around her and disrespects me.

often than ther father, what then when the father is the stay at home parent? I ask this because I am curious as to how infatns cope with 2 parents, always seeing both and the 2 at the same instance, do they become confused, could they tell the diffrence between male and female? I asked my wife, what do you think goes throught their little developing minds.

We have an absolutely beautiful 11 week old baby girl.

She is waiting about an hour longer to wake up to eat but seems to be normal besides that. Her temp. is normal and we have been changing diapers as normal today. It is mostly just her cry.
