My baby is 9 months old and she has been pre-teething for months. Her first tooth just broke through the gum a couple weeks ago(bottom), but it is crooked. The one next to it is also coming in crooked?? Is this normal?

my son was just diagnosed with a heart murmur. was wondering if anyone else's infant had one. and what can i expect? the dr. said that we will do ex-rays and an ekg in a few weeks. but in the meantime, i am too scared to look it up online, because its going to be all horror stories. thanks in advance!

My son will be turning 1 in May...how the time flies!

Of course I am excited to start planning this event even though it is not for a few months. However, the one thing I am worried about is the cake.

Everyone has pictures of themselves or their children as babies covered in frosting and chunks of cake, and I do not want to cut out that tradition. However, since my little one has had only formula and babyfood, all the sugars and "fake" incredients in the cake make me nervous. Most importantly, I don't want him to get sick of off the sudden sugar intake, or anything else like the eggs or regular milk.

Does anyone have any recipes for "baby friendly" cakes? Maybe natural ingredients or better alternatives?

Thank you!!!

For a baby sling?
I think black would go with more outfits but it might get hot for the baby in summer.
What do you think?

This is the first time my son is sick. He's 12 months and has diarhea. I've called his peditrican and they tell me they don't see children for this unless they've had it for more than two weeks. It's only been four days for us.

I'm following their instructions with pedialyte every 1-2 hours, at least two servings of yogurt, and starchy foods. But, I've seen no improvement. In fact, this morning no wet diapers yet we had a nasty diarhea diaper (one time so far).

He's clumsy, very pale, and won't eat anything except the pedialyte and yogurt. I'm most concerned about the lack of wet diapers. He slept for 12 hours and his diaper looked like he had one pee the whole time. That was at 7:30. From 7:30 until now he has had no pee (two hours). I did the skin test and it took a few seconds to get back to normal color.

It seems like he's loosing the pedialyte with each diaper. Is this normal? I just dont' know...

(Please no mean comments. I am a new mommy!!)

Since the birth of my second baby I've been getting a lot of headaches on and off. I did go and see my doc and he said to get my eyes checked which I did and they are fine. The headaches are always in the forehead area and almost touching my left eye. Just horrible. Any suggestions?
