I have to say, I think they both look great. They both look as though they allow discreet breastfeeding (a huge plus) and are adaptable enough to use for a toddler.

I would hazard a guess that the premaxx sling might be a wee bit more comfortable than the baba due to its design, but it's difficult to say without seeing or trying the slings. Sometimes designs with a plastic clasp can be uncomfortable if your body size / shape means that you end up with a fastener on your shoulder blade.

Does either store have a returns policy? Can you buy both and try with a weight similar to a baby in it and see which one you like and return the other?

id say premaxx....but you might want to think about something less complicated alot of mothers (including i) don't like all the straps and padding and buckles while it seems like a great idea it seems to only complicate and bulk-a-fy you.......here's the same thing without all the fancy stuff http://www.newnativebaby.com/ many of us like the feeling of just our baby strapped to us......... also for most little ones there comes a time where they want to be sitting up to watch the world and while the sling style carries can do this there will be a stage where its just not as safe as you might like and more attention needs paid to you little one in the sling then your housework for this i recommend a Mai tai or a wrap(my favorite) its the most simple and versatile baby carrier this link shows both http://www.ellaroo.com/

happy baby wearing

neither...not to scare you but have you ever thought about baby's airway when in a sling that lets them curl up in a fetal position...put your head forward all the way(drop your chin to your chest) and then relax as if you were sleeping...its hard to breath huh...this is the same reason why babies should not be in car seats longer than neccesary...I use "the ultimate baby wrap"$30 and the "storchenweige"$100 ..these kind of wrap style carriers prevent that happening and also pull baby's knees up above baby's butt so there is no pressure on the spine..not to mention they are way easier on your shoulders and back..
