She is always sad which leads to crying, Always worring about what people think and just unsure of alot of things. I am not a mother so I can only give so much advice. My 6 month old is a good eater. However, when she is in her highchair, she whines the entire time. When I hold her and feed her on my lap, she's just fine. Any tips on how I can get her to enjoy her mealtimes a little more?

He is 5 weeks old. I was exclusively pumping for the first week, then I got him back on breasts with no problem, he was nursed during the day and bottle fed from my husband {pumped breast milk} at night. It worked well untill yesterday, when he got really upset after two or three minutes of nursing. Started screaming every time he latched on. He is been doing it every time I tried to nurse him. There was enough milk as I pumped after that. I don't want to starve him, so I always gave him the bottle, but I would rather nurse him than be pumping all the time. What should I do???

I am 32 weeks pregnant with my first, and most of my pregnancy I was dead-set on breastfeeding. As it gets closer, though, I've found myself considering formula-feeding. I know all the benefits of breastfeeding, but it's hard to find anything about why some people choose to formula feed. I was wondering if any moms who formula-fed their infants would tell me why they chose to, and if they regret it. I know so many people are vehemently anti-formula, it's hard to find anyone who will discuss it.

And please don't just try to convince me to breastfeed. It's a personal choice and I have researched breastfeeding a lot. I'm just trying to get some opinions from the other side of the fence before I make a decision.

My daughter wakes up 4+ times a night, and wants to be held while she sleeps. She has better nights (wakes once or twice wanting to be fed), but most of the time I am up and down all night with her. Some times I give up and bring her into bed with me, where she still is restless, but sleeps somewhat better. She is nursed (never would take a bottle), but she eats 3 solid meals and nurses 3-4 times a day, so I know she is getting enough to eat. What can I do? I need my sleep! If I could even get her to sleep one 5-6 hour stretch I would be alright getting up a few times a night, but this is crazy. (No, she is not teething, she has 5 teeth already and when she is teething she won't sleep AT ALL without being held or in bed with me). HELP ME!!!!!!!!

Over the last week my breastfed seven month old's stool has been hard, like little marbles. There have been no unusual changes in her diet, she gets the same amount and types of Gerber as she has since she was four months old with no previous problems. Is she constipated? And what should I do? Give her pedyalite? Water? Juice?
