i have had heartburn & indigestion since yesterday evening, and still have it today. its killing me. i just took a tablespoon of vingear, so hopefully that will help. if it doesnt i'll try something else, im not really the med. pill taking person, and i hate doing it even more when im pregnant. so maybe it'll go away. is there anything else i can try other than taking meds? .. i know milk helps some ppl, is there anything else? .. thanks

My daughter is two about to turn three and her Dad thinks it's about Time we started using Regular soaps on her I disagree I am Affraid it will dry her skin and hair out. So when is it ok to use Regular soap and shampoo?

My little guy is nine months old and is showing no signs of being ready to wean. It does not bother me any. My neighbor actually said, "Eww - yucky" when I told her I was still nursing. *rolling eyes* When did you guys wean?

Im sooo stressed my son keeps crying and he wont stop... If i pick him up he stops immdiately but i currently have a back injury so I cant hold him all day long.. As soon as I pt him down he starts crying and not a little bit like LOUD!!! screaming is more like it. Pleas help me. He s 3.5 months old and i just started giving him a lil bit of apple sauce by gerber yesterday and some juice also by gerber. I tried letting him cry until he gets enough DOESNT WORK.. I am at my wits end here. Please any advice.. Also he has his bottom teeth coming out. the gum is all swollen.

In my 16 yr old sons room, I found a condom. Shouldnt I confront him about it or should I just leave it? I am glad he is wearing a condom but worried that he is having sex. By the way, the condom wrapper was open, it was in the trash.

a lot of people say you sleep when baby is sleeping,,,, i find that very difficult to do. my son is 6 weeks so i am up all day ana all night then in the morning till afternoons when he naps i just cant, i am write awake and watching tv or on my lapton.... not that i am not tired ,i am and early in the mornings i feel like running away because i dont have the energy to go on.
then once i am awake thats its cant sleep during the day.

what about you guys?

I got an ultrasound today becuase I didn't keep track of my period, so the doc says I am 11 weeks and 2 days pregnant, What day did I concieve?? I don't know how to calculate it or anything!

i know it can be either pregnancy or pms symptoms for most of these but i want your opinion...i am 10 dpo now and this is what i been having between today and the last couple of days it started...also i am 20 years old

~cramps and slight pressure as if af is going to show up any minute since 5 dpo
~break out on my forehead cheak and back (usually i have very clear skin and never had problems with it)
~heavy watery clear/white cm and has some ewcm in it since 4 dpo (i feel like i am leaking and always wet down there)
~very tired (i also get globs of it every so often)
~itchy breasts, and my left breast only is sore around and the nipple is slightly sensitve
~very thirsty, which causes me to pee more often, about every hour sometimes less
~occational lower back and thigh cramps
~and i feel like i can smell everything, and certain foods taste different (chocolate i usually love and i ate it and it tastes weird on my tongue i cant explain it)

***what do you think??

My son is in 3rd grade and absolutley has to wear deoderant every day. We bought him Arm & hammer because it seemed mild for his skin and he doesn't walk around smelling like he swam in Old Spice. Does anyone else have children that need deoderant that are this young? It seems like I was in 5th or 6th grade before I started wearing deoderant.

My wife has been begging me to get my 3 year old daughters ears pierced. She respects me and hasn't done it yet (though she tricked me one day with magnetized earings!). I'm very reluctant about it, for one I don't like the look, she's a little girl, there will be a time when she wears real jewelry and makeup, but it's not right now. I'm thinking this should be done as more of a "coming of age" thing.

She has never been this way until Thanksgiving when we saw lots of family and she was held a lot. Now I can't get anything done at my house because she cries the entire time until I pick her up. I don't really believe in cry it out, but she is 6 months old now and I don't know what to do. She sleeps great at night, btw and will take two naps a day, but when she is awake, she wants all of my attention. Thanks in advance.

My brothers fiance is 38 weeks pregnant, due to have their first baby (a boy) on 17th December.

She is 26 years old but incredibly immature, selfish and unpleasant as a person. She has basically alienated my brother from the rest of our family. She makes HUGE demands on my brother. For example she has made them get a houseful of pets which she doesn't take care of - barely pays attention to them, and makes my brother do all of the work. She then decided she wanted a baby (my family suspect as a way of holding on to my brother) and got pregnant right away. I fear they have unrealistic notions about it. They don't have much money and my brother already works all the hours God sends and then has to come home and do ALL of the household chores, shop, make food... care for the pets etc.

I just feel uneasy about the impending arrival of this baby. I am not sure I want my nephew to be born in to something like this. Yet.... there is nothing I can do :(
Any advice?

I have gotten so much conflicting advice, I'm not sure what to do. Currently he is eating about 5 or 6, 6 oz. bottles of formula. And has 1-2 Tbsp. of cereal morning and night. We started with rice and now he is trying oatmeal. I guess barley is next. And after that veggies? I guess my real question is, once I start the veggies do I still do cereal? Can anyone give me or direct me to a sample menu for a 6 month old? He is 7 months on the 22nd...and he is kind of a big boy, around 16.5 lbs. I just don't want my baby to be hungry, but I don't want to overfeed him either. Sorry if I sound neurotic, first time mom here :) Thanks in advance everyone!

My man and I are both brown eyed. His are very dark, almost black and mine are brown but they are more gold-ish than anything. My moms side of the family is all blue eyed. My daughter that was born 3 weeks ago has blue eyes but they aren't questionable blue, the are BLUE! How long do I have to wait before I know if they are going to stay that way>?

i am 37 weeks pregnant and have a real phobia of childbirth i have had this since i was little, i have told my doctors and midwifes about this and now i have an apointment to c the consultant. my midwife says he will discuss c sections with me. an obstatrision wrote in my notes last week that i was eager for a c section and that i would decide at the end of the pregnancy, i am now confused will they let me have the cection. any help or advice on this would be great thank you x

Ok this might be long but please someone tell me if i could be or not...

I had my period until the 11th. I have been on the Nuva Ring BC for a year and a half. I took it out the week of my period and i stopped on the 11th. My husband and i had intercourse and he ejaculated inside of me. After that i was so excited because i thought YES i can be pregnant. About 5 days later i had a little bloody spotting. And i was ovulating the day after we had sex if this helps. I want to be so bad, and so does my husband!!! So i waited until i was three weeks after that to go to the doc and get a blood test because i had to know if i was. It came back negative. It would be week four right now and my breast are swollen. I dont know if i should take a pregnancy test now or should i wait. Ususally with the Nuva Ring three weeks i dont have my period then one week i do. So i should be on my period now, but im not on BC so i dont know when im going to start. Should i test now? Is it to soon???

i had my new baby boy 12 days ago and i planned to breastfeed him like his two brothers. i am doing so every three to four hours and he gained 400 grms since birth which is good but what i want to know is when can i know that he is hungry this child is different, some time he weaks after one hour looking for the breast he drinks and go back to sleep but he had vomitted twice because i think he was over feed. so what can i do? do i ignore if he weak up? or keep giving him on his demand. please advice.
