Doctors will say once a week. I gave my baby a bath every other day. I usually gave him a bath before bed and this would calm him and help him sleep.

I've heard all different theories on this. I wanted to establish a good nigh time routine, so we decided to bathe our daughter every night, but 4 of the 3 nights are just "bird baths" with only water, the other 3 nights we use a gentle baby soap. I figure this way we can still establish a routine without drying her skin out. We also use baby lotion on her every night, I love our little routine, she gets her warm bath (with or without soap), then she gets a massage w/ lavender lotion, then she gets all wrapped up in her sleeper and I nurse her and she goes to sleep. We started this rountine when she was about 2 months old, she's 4 months old now. She seems to like it so far :)

Drs will say babies dont really get dirty, so not too often. My baby care class instructor said 2-3 times a week. Just use your judgement. In the beginning we didnt bathe my daughter so much but definitely cleaned behind her ears wiped her eyes, her hands and feet daily. We washed her hair every few days. Now we bathe her every other day and I clean her hands at least once a day. I will clean her hands more as she continues to put them in her mouth more.

I even have heard all different theories in this. i had to be certain an superb nigh time habitual, so we prepared to bathe our daughter each and each evening, yet 4 of the three nights are only "chicken baths" with in basic terms water, different 3 nights we use a young infant cleansing cleansing soap. I be helpful this way we'd be waiting to although set up a habitual without drying her dermis out. We additionally use infant lotion on her each and each evening, i admire our little habitual, she gets her heat temperature tub (with or without cleansing cleansing soap), then she gets a rubdown w/ lavender lotion, then she gets all wrapped up in her sleeper and that i nurse her and he or she is going to sleep. all of us began this rountine on an identical time as she grew to become approximately 2 months previous, she's 4 months previous now. She seems to like it so far :)

I've always bathed my children every other day in the evening, also. It helps to relax them and as long as you're using a gentle cleanser (like johnsons baby bath) it won't dry their skin too much.

I have 4 children and have always bathed them every single day. I've never had problems with my children's skin getting dried out and honestly I think its important to wash them and get any germs they may have on their body washed away. Use a baby wash like Johnson and Johnson, Baby Magic or Aveeno baby wash.

Everyday. With infant wash. If you want your child on a schedule, (I have 2 boys, 1 slept thru the nite at 3 weeks the other at 2 weeks), bath him/her about 7ish, (I used the lavendar wash, it helpes relaxing them and lavendar lotion (baby), massage lotion on the skin, dress and feed, put nite nite. Makes for a very happy baby. Good luck.

I bathed my daughter everyday. Check with your pediatrician. Some say every other day or longer than that.
