I have a friend who named her daughter Corinthia. This is my first time hearing the name & I think it sounds okay. It's definitely unique. What do you think of the name?

Hello!

My initial reaction was similar to a few of the posts already mentioned: in that it also reminds me of the Corinthian church which was riddled with challenges. Knowing how significant names can be from the comments I've gotten about my own children's names, I might prepare to explain to the child how the choice reflects what the parent sees their contribution being. In Jewish culture names were the ultimate expression of worth and overall human significance. This is how I would think about Corinthia. I believe this was the question.

I took a look online and found something youj might enjoy, in a hotel chain that is making an unusual name for itself. Check this out! :)

My first thought immediately went towards the chapters of the Corinthians from the bible. I think it is a lovely name after a little getting-used-to, and a lot better than some of the other names I've been hearing lately!

Sounds like a name of an old woman in a book set in the 1930's

Cori as a nickname is cute, but the full name reminds me of a name of a Lazy Boy Chair.
