Are there any rules specific to having pets like cats or dogs around newborns, or in the same house? I don't own any pets but I am about to give birth and we were thinking about getting a kitten later on down the road, maybe when our baby is about 2 or 3 years old. I don't know if it's safe for the kitten though! Or the baby!

My daughter used to eat fried egg or pancake in the breakfast.since few days she has stopped eating . so I tried other things like toast, omelet, cereal but she doesnt eat anything. so now I am giving her smoothie (i.e mix of banana, apple and cereal) so my question is that Is it ok if she likes just smoothie in the breakfast or should I stop it. any other smoothie ideas?

I dont produce enough milk in my breast to feed my baby.

Is it right that girls with bigger breast produce more milk ??

A boy who goes to my school (I'm in 7th Grade) has a girlfriend who's 15 and she's pregnant, she knows and a couple other people know. What are some stories?? Cuz there somehow going to raise this baby. He'll be 13ish when the baby's born. What can I do?? Thanks 4 the help!!

Iam 38 wks and have been told if I walk etc then I might bring labour on, but im stuck on bed rest due to SPD... I know the baby comes when it wants to but im so desperate for it to be here now LOL

Last night my 15-month old son had a slight fever of 99 degrees. This morning, it was 102.5, but it came down to a normal 98.4 after two hours with a full dose of infants Tylenol and removing his shirt. Now he's back to about 99.5 after a three hour nap. He's eating fine, playing with his toys and crawling/walking fine, in good spirits, wetting diapers normally, and in good spirits otherwise. Could this just be the result of teething? He's not sick, swollen, rashy, or having loose stools/vomiting...

I should of had my period today.
I was looking about the internet and worked out my ovulation day was the 22nd of last month my bf and I had sex that night and 3 days after that...

My symptons so far: cramps REALLY tired... peein all the time lol sore back feeling sick the odd time... and yesturday i was gettin really really hot... i also had sore boobs yesturday....

I took a HPT Thursday afternoon and the fist time it didn't work becuase i only pee-d a lil bit and i pee-d on the same one again and it said negative... Is this becuase i misused the test and also used it in the afternoon?...

When should I take a HPT again ?.. When does Implantation take place...?

I was just wondering if signs of labor would be different with a breech baby? Will a breech baby still "drop" or engage? Will you still dilate, and will your water break?
I am 36 weeks pregnant 1cm dilated and 50% effaced. I have been having contractions about every 2 minutes for the last couple of days. They are not getting stronger or more intense, but they are there. I have been to the hospital twice, thinking it "was time", but they keep sending me home.
I feel like its time for this baby to come, i'm just worried that I won't have any other signs because the baby is breech.
Any help would be aprreciated. I'm just not sure when I should go back this time.

My 13 month old woke up this morning with one eye that is puffy and just keeps producing eye goobers. It is not red or pink. She seems irritated by it but not mad or uncomfortable. Is the tear duct clogged? Is there anything I can to do try to get the tears moving again?

cd12 ewcm had sex
cd13 cervix high soft very wet and slippery had sex
cd14 ovulation day crampy damp cm had sex
1dpo cervical pos mid and dry crampy had sex
2dpo cervical pos low and dry had sex also had upset stomach
3dpo cervical pos low dry crampy
4dpo cramping gassy
5dpo smelly gas sore boobs on sides cervix low
6dpo nipples sore hard cramping alot and very gassy
7dpo diarrhea cramping sharp pain in left side
8dpo feeling crampy tired gassy
9dpo nausea crampy gassy heartburn
10dpo very moody very sore nipples shooting pain boobs ache all the time
11dpo cervix high creamy no cramping boobs and nipples very sore
12dpo sore boob more in nipples cramping but more at night
feel sick smells bothering me made me sick.
13 dpo lots of cramping got BFP. af due tomorrow dec 1st

I just got my infant simulator yesterday where you are required to insert a key into its back to stop its crying. My baby has cryed every 5 hours, and when i go to insert the key and turn it clockwise it gets quiet, but i have to hold the key in there 30 minutes before it will coo and signal that the care session is over.

Is this normal? Are you 'spoused to turn the key, or just insert it? Should the baby still be crying when the key is insterted?

It's just that the other students babies on cryed for two minutes, and mines almost half and hour. Any advice?

Just had my son 9 weeks ago. I have lost 30 lbs so far from giving birth and breastfeeding. Not really eating that healthy or exercising. So i have that extra 30 lbs just sitting on me and IT NEEDS TO COME OFF! I have NEVER been this heavy but under the circumstances I indulged in food ... for the baby of course LOL!
I have used a treadmill for about 5 yrs now to maintain a healthy weight and just to be in shape.
The belt is shredding now so I am wondering, should I purchase a new more upgraded treadmill OR try an eliptical and have a total body work out?
I only want to spend max of 300. I know i can get a good treadmill for that price but can i get a good eliptical? I am not sure since i have never stepped foot on one.
Please help! I want to lose 30 lbs! I did start eating healthy but cant really diet due to breastfeeding. So the equipments i use has to be good! ADVISE ANYONE?

My baby is 7 months old and desperately wants to crawl but can't figure it out yet!
Whereas he used to be happy to play on his tummy and roll around the room, he now just tries to crawl and cries. Doesn't seem to matter what I do with him - standing, sitting, chairs, door bouncer, he just ends up trying to get around and crying again!!

Any tips on getting through this phase??

My son's favorite toy, My Own Learning Leap, is malfunctioning AGAIN. This is our third one. I called the manufacturer AGAIN and now they're saying they no longer make this toy.

My question is: what's a good replacement for it? I've considered that Elmo Knows Your Name doll, but I'm just SO SICK of Elmo.

Does anybody no why some women don't go into labor on their own? I am already 4 days overdue and haven't experienced any contractions. Maybe a couple Braxton Hicks, but very few. I'm prolly have to be induced sometime next week. I'm on the small side, so could it be because my body doesn't think my uterus is large enough? I've heard of women going into labor way early with multiples because their uteruses are getting too big.
