Pregnancy & Parenting - 1 December 2007

Hello,
We (my hubby and I) have 2 beautiful little ones at the moment, and they are still quite young (my eldest is 2 1/2 and my youngest is 1 passed in oct), so i would not be thinking about having a 3rd little one right now, but when or how long is it best to leave for having a 3rd??
My husband is happy to ttc next year, but i dont know how i feel about it, cause i am a SAHM and the two we have is really hard work atm.

this question is really ment for people who have had a 3rd or more, cause i know having 2 seems to be enough for some people (or the 1), but we have the 2 girls atm and we would love to try for a boy, but we would never be upset if we had another little girl, cause we love our girls so much.

(please no daft answers ;o) ).

...who always says that if a baby is fast asleep, nothing could wake him up.
So now it's the baby's fault that he keeps being awakened by slammed doors, stammering footsteps and the crashing of stuff being thrown to the floor?

MY 4 weeks daughter dnt sleep in her moses basket she just wants to be cuddled and sleep in my arms in our bed sometimes she sleeps in it in day time but at night whn i try she starts crying loud & i have to take her out & she sleeps with me i am afraid if she adopts this pattern & will never sleep in her bed as i have heard ppl talking tht we should teach thm in starting at what age should i expect her to learn this plz advice its my 1st baby

I don't understand why we as parents and educators don't teach our children that abstinence is the best choice. Instead, schools are teaching children, yes, children, kids in 7th and 8th grade that sex is "okay" as long as you use protection and they are even making it possible to get ahold of condoms and birth control at the school. Why don't they teach that abstinence is best? Sex is not the game that they make it out to be - it can be a very real danger! Being sexually active before marriage, you run the risk of STDs, AIDS, teenage pregnancy, and the emotional hurt and pain that goes along with sex before marriage. It's not the game that teens make it out to be. Period! It is a real risk, and with more and more teens becoming sexually active because schools and parents are saying it's "okay", the risks are rising! Why don't parents and schools educate kids and tell them "Don't Have Sex Before Marriage" because the consequences are real and can be and are devastating?

hi im 17 weeks pregnant so almost 4 n half months, and about a week ago i felt like a little kick ( even though its not a kick its just the baby) well now not all the time... but maybe up to 6 times a day it depends i feel like the baby move around for about 1-3 seconds and it feels so amazing i love feeling it, but it feels like a viberating feeling inside like a fish swimming in there... people tell me it feels like gas but im 5'1 weigh about 109 now that im pregnant and i KNOW the difference between gas and the baby moveing.. one gurl said its probally because of my small frame thats why i cant feel it stronger well, let me know please! thanks!

Found out I was preg. on Oct 5. Immediatly my BF(hes 18 too) wanted me to keep it. So we talked & decided it was the right thing. We r scared though & on top of everything my family hates him. (I was raised by women, no father figure & all the women have been beaten by their past husbands.) which is where I think it comes from, because to me my BF is perfect. He was always ther for me even when we werent dating (been dating for a year) & is with me every day&night. He goes to all the appts. & is very supportive. We both go to school &work, he has a good county job with benefits for him & our baby & gets 3 months paid leave once the baby comes. We are moving in together in feb. (due date is June 5th) & he talks about getting married. I know hes committed but sometimes the pressure from my family makes me wonder if he will always be this way. My fam tells me after the baby comes everything will be diff. & i will see his true side. I just pray they are wrong..any advice?

I am 31 weeks and 3 days pregnant and can't really have sex anymore because it is so uncomfortable. My husband and I were told the vibrators used on the outside is fine but they make me nervous. well last night we did it (on the outside) and I don't know if that relates to this or not. My daughter had a little bit of one bottle on Thursday. That was her last. She has only had 1 -2 bottles of drinkable yogurt, some juice from a juice box and a few sips of milk from sippy cup. She only cried for about 20 minutes on Thursday night because she wanted her bottle after dinner. She is not one to have bottle to put her to sleep, only after meals and with snack.

I offer Next Step formula, juice, soy milk, water and drinkable yogurt and she hasn't taken too much of anything.

Will thirst eventually kick in and make her want to consume liquid given in any form (sippy, straw, adult cup)? I'm even drinking from a sippy hoping that she will want to imitate me. I even offer water in her bottle.

Will my daughter eventually drink liquids from sippy or straw? When should I start to worry?

(additional info...I have different types of sippy cups including nuby.)

I'm a teenager (a guy) who knows this 13 year old boy (a guy) who came to me and asked me if I masturbated or if I've ever orgasmed before. I already knew him from previous interactions, where he ussualy comes up to me and tells stories or jokes about random things or just talks about himself. He'd touch me a lot, frequently poking me, tripping me, hitting me and bumping into me either while he's talking or afterwards. There are also times when his hands seem to brush or glide along my body, either on my back, pelvis or chest, and I can't tell if they're accidents or subtle attempts to 'feel' me. He's asked me a few personal questions (like do I have a girlfriend or have I had sex), and talks about sex ed in school sometimes. What does this mean? What should I do? How do I deal with this? Should I talk to him about sex and give him 'the talk'? How do I identify what this is and help him deal with this in a healthy, responsible and appropriate way?

i know for a fact(my monthly cycles) that this is my fertile week and that im ovulating and will be for the next couple of days. my question is should my lower stomach be hurting? for the last couple of days its felt like menstral cramps then a couple of times it was a little jab of pain but mostly cramp like

are these signs of ovulation or something else? and b4 anyone asks yes me and my husband have been having sex using the pull out method and we are not NOT trying to get pregnant and we arent trying to get pregnant. we're just going with the flow for a couple of months to see whatll happenand i know that its not an acceptable form of BC.lol.

Day and night he just wants it there to know its there sort thing. He wont take a pacifier. He wont suck his thumb. I am so tired and sleep deprived at this moment that I don't care what he puts in his mouth so I can sleep. Does anyone have any suggestions. He is 4. He loves his vacuum cleaner. Most little boys have a favorite blanket, toy, or teddy bear. Not him. It's an upright vacuum cleaner. He always pushes this thing around the house. If you take it away, he will cry. Should his parents be worried?
