I like them all, but I need to know if they go well with that surname... please give an abridged version of how well they go with that surname... I know many ppl like sophia and layla but i think it doesnt go as well as the others!

I am 38 weeks pregnant and last night and some of this morning I keep getting contractions very hard every 2-4 mins. and hours at a time..Just when I think I need to go in they quit..has anyone had this happen and when did you finally know when they were real?? Short of your water breaking..

My son is nearly 2 and a half years old and i have been unsuccessfully trying to potty train him for a while now but he still doesnt seem to have the hang of it, if i take his nappy off he will hold his wee and then do ir all over the floor when he cant hold it anymore, i have already explored the possibility that he doesnt like the potty and brought him a toilet seat but he doesnt want to use that either. I am constantly reminding him about using the potty and trying to encourage him to sit on it so he doesnt forget
Does anyone have any tips for how i can use for trying to get him toilet trained

My three year old son is obsessed with Dora. We watch it at home occassionally, it does have some educational value, but he watches it mostly at the babysitters. My mother-in-law has really added to it I think, by buting him pink Dora blannkets, Dora dolls, Dora, cereal, and Dora cookies. At first i din't sem to mind, but then the fact that my little BOY is sleeping with pink Dora blankets and dolls everynight started to concern me. Is this a problem? Am I worrying too much? I have tried introducing Diege, the "boy version" of Dora, but most Diego stuff has Diego AND Dora. Is this appropriate for my son? My other son seems to be "all boy" and they don't have any sisters. Where is he picking up all this girly influence? he is also interested in my (his mother's) shoes, makeup, and such. What should I do?

My three month old daughter keeps throwing up her formula. I've been giving her pedialite (spelling??) she keeps that down but not her formula. She is already on lactose free formula, this has been going on since early thursday morning. She eats and then about 10 minutes later she throws it up. Mot all the time but most of the time and it is alot. It is clumpy and sour smelling. Has anyone had this problem??

my son is a TV addict! His eyes are glued to the TV at least 5 hours a day esp bedtime. he must watch his favourite DVDs before he agrees to sleep. if he doesnt get what he wants, he would throw a big tantrum and cries till he vomits. im the cause of the problem. i have been over-indulgent and gives in all the time. is it too late to stop this bad habit of ours? im on the verge of throwing away the tv and dvd player!!

I am 18, 33weeks pregnant with my first, a boy.

I know I am very far along and the baby wont move so much because he can't, but he normal is very VERY active. Today he hasn't moved much.
Am I just over worrying or is something wrong? I don't have another midwife appointment for 9days.

I am just worried because he isn't moving very much, and the movements he has done were so small and only just notisable.

Like I said I know being so very he isn't ment to move very much, but he has ALWAYS been VERY active and he isn't today it is weird.

iv heard it so many times that you can,and as it happens my cervical mucus is very stretchy,im going to do the deed every other day throughout my cycle anyway,as im not sure when i ovulate,but with this mucus ,its making me think i could get pregnant now,have any of you conceived the days following your period

i gave birth to my baby on nov. 16 and started producing milk soon after his birth...like 2 days later...i was breast feeding and pumping b/c i was producing so much milk that he couldn't keep up with me. now all of a sudden im not making it anymore...i was pumping out about 6-8 oz. every 2-3 hours and now i pump about one 1 oz flat. what happened and i dont even have enough to nurse him? i went through some baby blues which im not entirely over and they were pretty bad...could that be it?

He got into trouble earlier this year, for which he received probation for foolishness. So I've been quite skeptical about letting him hang out late at nite w/his friends because he doesn't need to have ANY police contact if he plans to get through this probationary period. However, he feels that I'm totally overboard in my thinking and that nothing is going to happen to him. He's a young black male, with a distinctively noticeable vehicle and I KNOW for a fact that he's going to get pulled over if he continues to drive around at all hours of the nite. So lately he's been quite disrespectful, threatening to move out, staying out all nite & not coming home til the next morning. I'm trying to maintain some type of relationship w/him, however, he's making it very hard for me to continue. I've had friends/family that have told me to put him out of the house & let him find out how hard life is. I'm a little hesitant to do that

When I was a kid I spent most of my time outdoors playing in the woods, riding my bike, playing games and sports. Now I live in a neighborhood with lots of kids but no one is seen outside. I assume they spend most of their times on the computer, watching TV and studying for the SAT's. What happended don't kids play outside anymore?

Do they in your neighborhood and is it a good thing for kids to play outside?
