The closer together that they are the more likely you are to give birth soon. Go into the doctor anyway. There are contractions called braxton-hicks which appear to be contractions but are really cramping in your uterus. Take it seriously and hopefully you will deliver soon! Good luck! :)

You're in the 1st stage of labor. Call your doctor and get his advice (he needs to know anyhow). You're dilating with these labor contractions so you also might consider going to the hospital. They'll check you and determine how dilated you are and if you're at a 6 they'll keep you there. Sometimes the water doesn't break until you're almost ready to deliver so don't count on that as a reliable sign.

It depends on the contractations, if there very hard and sharp they may be braxton hix, which are false contrations. I had this w/ my first daughter and it went on for 2 days. when I had my first real cont. I didnt even know it was a cont. because it didn't hurt it was just a gradual increase in pressure. The best thing for you to do if your not sure which one of these it is, is to call your ob and let them knw what is going on. Best of luck and congrats.

I actually have a niche of 8 years between my first infant and this infant. So decrease back in 2000 i did no longer have the internet as a source, in simple terms books, acquaintances, and childbirth training. i locate it to be a extensive distinction. on the information superhighway you hear plenty approximately emotional fringe of childbirth and such as you suggested, the journey of childbirth. In man or woman, interior the flesh chatting with individuals, my acquaintances and kin do in simple terms no longer communicate approximately childbirth in those phrases. the main we stated then replaced into having a delivery plan on paper so as which you had something to grant to the physician. My delivery plan replaced into to have a healthful infant by using any potential conceivable and that i never concept that replaced into well worth committing to paper. So perchance I in simple terms wasn't around one in each of those individuals who may well be discussing childbirth in those phrases, yet i do no longer deliver it to suggestions ever bobbing up. Having been by using it, I in simple terms prefer to get by using to the different side so the genuine artwork can start up. To me the bonding once you have your new infant house is the specific area of the journey, no longer unquestionably childbirth once you're in simple terms attempting to get it over devoid of your eyeballs popping out of your socket. i replaced into drug unfastened and replaced into regretting that by using the final hour of pushing!

They need to be consistently getting stronger and closer. Call your doctor, he may want to see you in the hospital.
Otherwise, I'd say it's false labor.
Note* If you have dialted, DO NOT have sex! It could cause infections!!!
