I'm right at 29 weeks today. For some reason this past week or so, I've constantly been thirsty, and it's like I can sit here and drink a whole bottle of water, and like 2 minutes later be thirsty again. These past few months, I've had barely any pop at all, mainly just water, milk, oj, and apple juice...we just don't keep pop in our house. I've had about 60-70 oz. of water today alone. I'm also not feeling hungry anymore, I just feel like snacking. I'm making sure I eat well enough, but all that sounds good is like cereal or grapes or something like that. I was just wondering if this is normal, or if it sounds like it could be a complication of a problem. I just had my glucose test this past week, and it turned out fine, so I know it's not diabetes...

please help whenever my son is naughty i put him on the naughty step but it doesn't affect him. He just sits there happily and sings. Sometimes he asks to be put there and it doesnt prevent him from being naughty at all. What other punishments are there? By the way i don't want to hit my child.

Ok this is my 2nd child and first time to be able to breastfeed. I have a few questions:
1. I have to pump them feed to son b/c he is unable to latch. What is normal color of breastmilk? Son was born 3 days ago.

2. My nipples look like they are pealing from a sunburn...they don't hurt..just pealing...what nipple cream should I try?

3. What foods/drinks can I have/need/or need to avoid while breastfeeding and why?

I know a few things from others like brocolli is high in giving the baby gas but not sure of what other items are out there too.

My fiancee lives about an hour and a half away right now, while I'm being a surrogate mother for my aunt and uncle. He comes every weekend or every other weekend, and I want to make our time together special. However, neither of us have a whole lot of money to spend right now, as we're trying to keep a lot saved for when the time comes in January for us to move in together. Movies here cost 9.50, so thats not an option! Is there any sweet, fun, romantic things to do that don't cost a lot of money? Preferably 15 dollars or less, but still meaningful, and that I can do while I'm 8 months pregnant?

Ok so I got morning sickness really bad around 5 weeks with this one and since I didnt experience it with my first I let it go for a few weeks and couldnt eat at al and was puking all day long so on Wednesday my doctor gave me Zofran because I had lost almost 15 pounds and was starting to get dehydrated again. So I started taking my Zofran on Thursday and ate like I hadnt eaten in weeks and felt great and it is now Saturday and the Zofran is working great but I realized that Thursday night I lost two pounds after eating a lot and have lost a pound each night since then for the last two nights... I am not excercising and I am eating just the same as I would have before getting sick but I am still losing weight. Anyone else gone through this or know what might be going on? I can't talk to my doctor until Monday which I will do but I would still like an idea about what might be going on.

No BS answers please... THANK YOU!!

Ok So my Husbands Grandmother Just Passed Away And She Lives On The Other Side Of The Country Should I Not Go To The Funeral Or Should I Go And Take My Twin Boys WHo Are Six Weeks Old? Is it possible to go to the Dr and have a transvaginal ultrasound done, not tell them you could be 7-8 weeks pregnant and they miss it?? I also had a blood test done and it was negative. Could I be pregnant and them not see the gestational sac this far along if they weren't looking for it?

most tenth graders go to bioligy but i have the choice to take chemistry. If i choose chemistry then i would have to take both my 10th grade year. then i could move on to higher classes or ap classes in 11th grade. i really dont know what to do tho. my mom says that i shouldnt put that much presure on me unless i plan to take a career in science but my dad thinks i should go for it. what do you think?

I have this 7 year old girl and she is really outgoing and cute.
Well, she loves spotlight, and she likes to be charming and funny so she gets attention from everybody, and she often is the center of attention doing it.

But the problem is that, when people aren't looking at her or she doesn't get attention, she gets angry and throws tantrums, saying no one likes her anymore.

I try to tell her that she can't expect to have all eyes on her all the time, but her dad spoils her so much and she doesn't listen.

So, I am having twins, but I don't know the sexes yet.

What do you think of these names?

Girl Twins
Baby A: Kathleen-Jai (nick name: Katie-Jai). Meaning "Pure-Victory"
Baby B: Skyler-Rae. Meaning "Ewe/Female sheep." I'm not a huge fan of the meaning, but Rae is my "sister's" middle name. She has been there for my since I was 13 and I love her to death, so I chose to have her name incorporated in my child's name. She doesn't know yet =)

Boy Twins
Baby A: Hayden-Cooper "from the hay downs-Barrel maker"
Baby B: Seth-Jayden (combo of Jay and Aiden) Jay- "bird in the crow family" Aiden- "Little fire" So, full meaning "Appointed-bird in the crow family little fire"
Or possibly have one names Seth-Cooper and figure out a different name that can go with Hayden or Jayden.
*not crazy about the boys meanings, but I love the names*

The Pediatrician says he is going through phases, but he is losing weight now. He was built like a linebacker before and has since thinned out. He eats and drinks little these days. Milk in AM, a couple of snacks during the days (his favorites pot chips and many fruits). Before bed milk and his vitamins. Its a struggle to get him to eat a main meal but now he is totally rebellious to the point he spits up the food. He was a good baby and ate everything before, but now we do not know what to do as he lost around 5 lbs. He has been brought to the Ped twice for this with same resulting answer. What is suggestions for encouraging him to eat normal meals? He probably only takes in a few hundred calories a day at most for the last 6-8 mos.

I've read a lot of question and answer boards about this, but none that were as specific as my case. For the past few weeks I feel nauseous after I eat, no matter what I eat or how much or how little. I have been on birth control for about 9 months now and haven't had any problems with it or any missed pills. When I mentioned to anyone how I was feeling nauseous they always asked me if I was pregnant but I didn't think anything about it because I'm on the pill. I did get my period last week and it didn't seem any different than normal, but someone also told me that you can get your period, especially if you're on the pill, but you could still be pregnant. I went to the doctor and when I told him about the nauseua and that I've been getting headaches he thought I was pregnant too so he had me go to the lab and do a urine test and it was negative. I guess my question is, could there be any way that the test was wrong? Is there anything else that I can do to know for sure?
