I'm right at 29 weeks today. For some reason this past week or so, I've constantly been thirsty, and it's like I can sit here and drink a whole bottle of water, and like 2 minutes later be thirsty again. These past few months, I've had barely any pop at all, mainly just water, milk, oj, and apple juice...we just don't keep pop in our house. I've had about 60-70 oz. of water today alone. I'm also not feeling hungry anymore, I just feel like snacking. I'm making sure I eat well enough, but all that sounds good is like cereal or grapes or something like that. I was just wondering if this is normal, or if it sounds like it could be a complication of a problem. I just had my glucose test this past week, and it turned out fine, so I know it's not diabetes...

No complication except pregnancy... we all get to that point as some point in our pregnancy. By the time I was 24 weeks I was drinking 8 glasses during the night and drinking 5 Brita pitchers full of water each day and every other waking moment was spend peeing... And since you had your glucose test already I wouldnt be worried at all as long as you can keep the water down and you are still peeing. Just think of it this way... if you start feeling contractions you know it wont be because you are dehydrated... since I drank so much water when my daughter tried to come (about twice a week from about 24 weeks, and being stopped by Turb shots) my doctor wouldnt even ask me if I was drinking enough water because everyone in the labor and delivery area already knew how much water I drank each day and witnessed how much I could drink in an hour time period just while monitoring on the contraction and heartbeat monitor. So keep on drinking your water and enjoy you time with the toilet... lol!!!

I'm 20 weeks and feeling the same way. I'm not hungry much but always thirsty. When I was pregnant with my 1st, I went to a restaurant and drank 13 glasses of water so the server gave me my own pitcher of water.

The only thing I think this can indicate is diabetes, and since you've been tested, I wouldn't be worried at all :) When you're pregnant, your body craves the things that will meet it's needs. You need more water at this point in time and your body is letting you know by making you feel thirsty.
