I've read a lot of question and answer boards about this, but none that were as specific as my case. For the past few weeks I feel nauseous after I eat, no matter what I eat or how much or how little. I have been on birth control for about 9 months now and haven't had any problems with it or any missed pills. When I mentioned to anyone how I was feeling nauseous they always asked me if I was pregnant but I didn't think anything about it because I'm on the pill. I did get my period last week and it didn't seem any different than normal, but someone also told me that you can get your period, especially if you're on the pill, but you could still be pregnant. I went to the doctor and when I told him about the nauseua and that I've been getting headaches he thought I was pregnant too so he had me go to the lab and do a urine test and it was negative. I guess my question is, could there be any way that the test was wrong? Is there anything else that I can do to know for sure?

take your own test a couple of weeks timebut if you are on the pill then maybe it could have been something you ate that gave u a dodgy stomach...or a phantom pregnancy????

If you are on the pill and a test done by the doctor has come back negative, the next step is a pelvic exam. But you know it could just be the flu, or a virus.
