I have a nine year old son who wants to create a page where he can type blogs. I don't want him on MySpace and Yahoo 360, you have to be at least 18. Does anyone know of anything else that is kid friendly?

There are a few places...xanga.com is one of them. But I will caution you.... just because it's kid friendly, doesn't mean there is no risk. As long as kids are on the internet, even on blogs, there is always a risk of contact by perverted adults.

He's only 9 so typing on the web may not be so safe. But him a diary and get him to "blog" in that. If he wants people to read it get mum/dad/aunties and unles/grandparents/friends/siblings to read it and leave a comment. It will give the same effect only it is much safer.
