Even though you have young babies, you are still his wife first and I think he may need your support. It is probably not a good idea for him to travel alone in this state and having the babies and you there might help take his mind of things every now and then. Best wishes!

Talk it over with your husband and explain any doubts or fears you may have.
Are you talking about the trip to the other side of the country or just to the funeral.
I think I'd play it by ear for the funeral - you no doubt want to pay your last respects to such an amazing woman but it may be a bit much for you with the little ones.
Are there other parents with young children there, would it be possible to have them all together in someone's home and have some one, maybe a friendly neighbour, look after them,so all the adults could go to the funeral together leaving the little ones in safe hands.
Look love, it is really your choice. A double arm full of baby boys can be awkward but maybe a stroller could be used, maybe ask another family member to help with the boys.
I'd say you want to be there for your husband and there is no nice way to support him than to stand beside him as an entire family.
It is really your choice.

six weeks old is kind of to young to be caring a baby cross the country you should talk it over with your husband i mean he should undestand but i think you should be home with the babies and not go to the funeral because you and your husband cant just think about you and him even under the sad circumstances you have to make the decision thats best for the babies!good luck

Honestly only you can figure out what is best for you and your husband -for you to go or you to stay. However if you go you are going to have to take the babies with you. Seriously you can't leave 6 weeks old babies for a couple of days.

That is tough. He is pretty upset and probably can't help alot. I would be tempted to stay home. that is alot. I traveled alone, as a single mom, on a 2 week road trip with my 3 month old and my 7 year old (who is old enough to help out). It was very difficult for me. I can't imagine traveling and meeting family, and keeping twins quiet, that are infants.

I say let him go alone and send your regards. You can't take a chance with the little ones getting sick. I am sure the relatives will understand. If you can send some pictures with your husband to give out to family members if they ask for one. Send a card too!

ask your hubby what he feels... and other family members...
let them say NO... I think they will understand your condition ,
you cant leave boys as they are just 6 weeks old and how many hours you need to drive??
but rather then making your own decision as i said earlier let them say no for you so no one can blame you for not being there later on...
and if they feel you sould go there then go with husband or someone. dont drive alone with young kids...
Take care

Don't go.
I would not, even if the babies were 2 months old. It's too much work for you.
Just send your condolences. Everyone including hubby should understand.
I would even not want him to go, but if he does (understandably), get someone to help you out few even a few hours a day.

You should be excused from having to do that. You must be exhausted without going anywhere. Plus, she is not your relative. Everyone will understand if you stay home with your newborn twins.

Let your husband go but everyone will understand why you can't go with your new babies. It's flu season and you don't want your boys to get sick.
