No, but with both my kids heartburn has meant that my kids had hair on their heads when they were born. My doctor even made the comment that heartburn often is related to having a baby with a full head of hair.

The only saying I've ever heard about heartburn was that if you had heartburn while pregnant it meant your baby was going to come out with a head full of hair, my friend had heartburn all the time and hers came out with a lot of hair, but she also had a boy... the only way to tell the sex of the baby for sure is to get a sonogram

Only true about 50% of the time - the same as the chance of having a boy - it's just a old wife's tale. Heartburns are more common during pregnancy however, regardless of the gender of the baby. Congratulations by the way!

I doubt it VERY much. There are a LOT of "old wive's tales" like this that are told when a woman is pregnant. You have a 50-50 chance of having a girl. Heartburn will not be a factor in choosing your babies sex.

I always heard if you had heartburn it means the baby has lots of hair. Either way it is a tale. I had heartburn with all three of my sons and they were bald.

Well, I don't think so. It can happen with either gender, though I heard when you have heartburn, your child comes out with a lot of hair. Which was true in my case - my daughter had a lot of hair.
However, I believe both are more just old wives tales.

No. that's one of those myths that stupid people tell in an attempt to dumb down the rest of us. I just get irritated by old wive's tales.
My pregnancy resulted in heartburn everyday - with a boy.
