I had it with my 2nd pregnacy im sorry to say I went into labor 7 and ahalf weeks early. But she was just small perfectly healthy! She came home in 10 days weighing 4.00 pounds. Out of five daughters she is the biggest. but be very careful it can be dangerous! blood loss is a big threat. good luck youll be fine. Both of you..

I have placenta previa with this pregnancy...I'm currently 21 weeks and my Dr didn't say anything about not carrying to term. He did cut off my sexual activities with my hubby though until after the birth because it can cause the placenta to separate early or cause bleeding.

Also....some placentas will move out of the way to allow for vaginal delivery...but some don't and that will require you to have a C-section in order to have the baby (I'm hoping mine moves because I'll be just mad if I went thru 3 labors only to be cut with this one).

Who told you that the baby would come early? The Dr? You should ask him why he said that. MY sister's friend also have previa and actually went past her due date.

Hmm. I had placenta previa at 16 weeks, and had an uneventful, full-term pregnancy and a healthy baby. The placenta was still partially covering the cervix at term, and I did need a c-section anyway, for other reasons. I guess every case is different. Good luck to you and baby!

From my studies, Mothers who have placenta previa have an extremely difficult time carrying to term as the placenta is too close to the cervix and the placenta is born first before the baby. Please stay on the doctor ordered bedrest and watch the amount of bleeding you have. They may even have to stitch your cervix closed to prevent premature birth. I will be praying you carry as long as you possibly can.

Not to scare you, but I lost my son when I was 5 months pregnant. I began bleeding profusely, and was later told I had plecenta previa. The doctor didn't even know beforehand. Probably could've been prevented. Knowing is half the battle. Be extremely careful, and I hope everything works out for you! Good luck

not something because of the fact i'm donning those skinny rayon print pants with a T-blouse that I positioned on as pj's & front room positioned on for in-between climate. i like them, yet regrettably, they have no wallet. when I went exterior to study the Sunday paper, I tossed on a sunhat & a unfastened-setting up oversize jean jacket with Kleenex & keys filled in the wallet. in no way ever step exterior with out the keys.
