It's an alright name. I think if you changed the spelling around and switched Narie to Marie the name would be so much better :)
As far as Kalyse goes, try spelling it Calliese. That's my friend's name and she pronounces it "Ka-leese". I think the spelling I've suggested adds so much class to the name. Like I said, try switching Narie to Marie so the name becomes Calliese Marie. Much better :)
As another suggestion, if you like Kalyse you may like Kelsey. Just throwing that out there :)

I don't like it. I think it's a name your child will have to spell and pronounce their entire life and that they will at some point be made fun of for. It also does not seem like a name that could carry a child into a professional career.
I just don't see a company hiring someone named Kalyse as their CEO. A classy name is one that is classic and sophisticated.
As a school teacher I live in dread of children with names like this because I have had parents SCREAM at me for mispronouncing their child's name. If you give your child and unusual and oddly spelled name why is it MY fault if I mispronounce it? I never mispronounce Sophia or Marie or Ellie or Katie...
Not trying to be rude, but you asked for opinions.

I like the way it sounds....but there is a problem when you have a unique name. Noone ever knows how to pronounce it and you spend a long time telling people the pronounciation of it... My name is Tyara (pronounced tiara) and I can honestly say that I get annoyed when I have to correct people when they read my name. I love my name now (I'm 24) but I HATED it growing up. I didn't like it until after I finished high school.

Kalyse Narie is sooo pretty. I know a girl named Kelis. And if you are worried about people not saying it right then maybe you should spell it like "kelis" or "Kelise". But I personally like the way you spelled it, its different. After all, I know tons of girls who have my name but Im the only one who name is spelled the way mine is.

I really like Kalyse!!! Narie is ok. If u like it, then go for it. Don't worry about what others say. They had/will have their chance to name their kids what they wanted to/want to, now it's ur turn. Name her Kalyse Narie. =).
BTW, u mentioned spelling suggestions...I like the spellings Kelyse & Kelise.
Good luck!!!! =)

You asked our opinions! How is someone who doesn't like it being rude?
I personally hate it. It's not a name. How about Clarice Marie? Even Clarice Narie would be better.
EDIT: I love you too. rotflol

I do not like it. Nora's entitled to her opinion, which I happen to agree with. If you don't want "rude" answers, DON'T ASK FOR PEOPLES OPINIONS, especially on the internet.
Edit: Soon to be mom, will you stop stalking me because you don't like my answer? You seem very childish.

I like Kalyse that's cute! Kelise would be nice too. I suppose with an 'a' you could call her Kallie for short. Good name!
