I keep hearing the expression, to bond with your baby, some mothers seem to know they've got that bond & others don't.
How did you feel when your baby was born in that respect?

Personally I was in awe when i first had my baby at how cute & adorable she was, but I felt she could have been given birth to by anybody.Maybe cos i had a c-section.She's 1 yrs now & I can't describe how much i love & want to protect her but when i look at her i still can't see that she came from inside me.

Tell me your experience....

My husband & I are thinking of a little girl's name but not sure the 'feminine' way to spell it. Payten? Peyton? Other spellings? I know this name can be used for both boys and girls.

I am really concerned about the amount of toys that are being recalled due to health safety. Here is Australia out toy of the year has been recalled, because kids are getting really sick from it, to the point on mother thought her daughter was going to die (was on ten’s late news)!!
This is the toy of the year; can you imagine how many people have this toy in their homes?? I know I bought a few for my niece’s Christmas presents.
They say this toy actually turned into a form of liquid Ecstasy when ingested. How scary!!
I am so sick of having cheap labour making our toys, and then kids getting sick from them. There needs to be a better screening procedure before they hit our shelves, don’t you think???
What are your thoughts on the matter???

I've been off the coil for over 1 and half years now and i went to see my doc about this as my bloods came out fine. She is referring me to Gynocologist and he may give me chlomid after investergating and just wnated to know how it works??? Does it work ??

Ok, for those of you who have not read my last posts...I am now 13DPO and AF is due today...so far nothing and don't feel like it is coming at all...I usually spot a few days before and wake up with cramps the morning of and so far nothing. I was cramping 2 days ago when I had a dip in temp. I know I have the whole day ahead of me but hopefully it wont show...all my test have been BFNs...Im not going to test today..I dont want to see another BFN just yet....I tested yesterday with 3rd morning urine and got one. This morning when I woke up my temp was still high and I had a alot of CM...I smeared it between my fingers and it was like lotion..sorry TMI!
Last night I was sitting on the couch and had about 3 spells of dizziness that lasted about 20 seconds apiece. So I'm still hopeful and would love some encouragement! Here is my chart.

My daughter is 21 months old. She hardly eats. For breakfast I give her weet-bix, corn flakes or toast. If I give her cereal she'll only eat a few spoon fulls. If it's toast about 1/2 a piece. Lunch I try a sandwich. If she hasn't had one for a few days she'll eat it other wise take a bit and tell me "no more mummy" Other things I give her for luch are noddles and tin spaghetti. i know they aren't the best for her but just want her to eat. At dinner time she has what we have. Unless it's spicy. Otherwise she'll have scrambled eggs. She'll also have yogurt and a banana during the day some time. I try different things including fruit with her but she won't even try them. To me she isn't eating enough. At the moment she is in a rhino brace and will be for the next 6 months for a dislocated hip. Because she can't move I know she won't need much as she isn't burning the same amount of calaries as she use to, but she still needs to eat. She won't take milk or formula either. What can I do?

My wife is pregnant since the 1st of sept (last menstruation). No particular problems. She need to stay in Instambul for 3 days, in a Hotel for a convention.

I would like to know if there are risks with the fly from Milan to Istambul (max 2h) and if the stress could be dangerous after the prenatal CVS (Chorionic villus sampling). Her ginecologist says "I don't believe so" but for me is not enough... :)

I have had an early miscarriage at 5 weeks. I have only bled heavily since Saturday (3days) on the third day it was light and turned brownish in colour. Is this normal? Also I want to know whether I should go back to the doctor to see if everything is fine, do i need to or do you normally just leave it and only go back if there is a serious problem (smelly discharge etc)? I want to start trying for a baby ASAP!! Just worried that I may need to go back to the hospital for a blood test to see if my HcG levels are back to 0....

i had an ultra sound done twice at the hospital and they said "we cant tell you your due date yet". i really want to know! my best friend found out HER due date and shes only 5 weeks preggo...i want to find out mine, this is upsetting me.

my last period was on the 25 of sept to 31 of oct, and when i went to the hospital to tell them i missed my period they carried out a test on me and found out that i am pregnate and she said am 10 weeks gone,pls can u help me to calculate it cos this is my first pregnacy,and i don't know how to calculate it,i want to know to be on a safe side b/cos i belive they might not be right,cos is just sept till now

I have a one year old daughter who is constantly either saying mama or dada and trying to get our attention. When we are trying to have fun on the computer or just trying to watch tv while she is playing with toys she will automatically stop and try to bug us. I love her to death but it aggrevates me to death! She also gets into stuff that she knows she isnt suppose to to get attention and she cries alot at night. I dont know what to do about it so could someone please give me and my hubby advice?! Thanks.

does anyone else think names that have more apostrophes and hyphens than letters are starting to get really out of hand. or does anyone else seem to think that people are just giving their kids ridiculous names.
i mean i've heard of kids called Ja'Quelah, Tar'Leithah, La'Keaelle... and now even My'Unique Angel... seriously what the hell, your kids will learn how to spell Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious before their names.
Just my opinion. :)

I'm At least 3 months pregnant recently though, My belly got really tight, it feels really hard like I have a huge ball starting under my Boobs and it seems to be growing from that point,
Its also very hard to breath all the time no matter the position im sitting or laying,
I looked this up and it was saying something about "Braxton Hicks" Im not sure what that means, And what are signs of Twins?? (google Seems to think thats why my belly Hurts and its so hard)
