Well, sorry if this question seems a bit explicit but I need some help. Not too long ago, I was with my partner. Basically I masterbated, whiped my hand off with a sock, then used my fingers for her. She has not had her period yet, but has about four days left. Are the odds of her pregnacy high? Please can I have some medical advice here.

I don’t believe that spanking is the answer to every situation, but I do think it is a good form of discipline if the child gets completely out of control. I have posted many questions about my husband’s unruly and downright disrespectful niece. She is eight years old and she is a terror. I realize there’s not much I can do when at my inlaw’s house (whom take care of her 80-90% of the time), but I am at the point to where I want to snatch her up and spank her ***, or either tell her to take a time-out or something when she’s at my home. I am absolutely SICK AND TIRED of dealing with her crap. I am even more tired of my inlaws watching this child act out and doing nothing about it. They have made comments about her behavior before (I think in response to the looks on my face when she talks back), and they feel that since they aren’t her parents they have no right to discipline her. My mother inlaw has spanked her several times, but I mean things had gotten WAY out of control.

when i asked the question about keeping my baby and gave a description of how poor i am people were telling me to put the baby up for adoption, it would be better for him. now, and not because of those answers, i am giving him up for adoption and people and telling me not to do it. i guess my question is do people believe in it or not? or do they still think i should and they are just warning me how hard its going to be?

confused...

ps not trying to be rude, i am grateful for all my answerers but im just feeling a little stuck in the middle

My MIL lives about 2 miles from us, which is normally great. She's a sweetheart, and I love that our son gets to see her on a regular basis (at least a few times a week). However, some things are getting a bit out of hand - mainly, the way my son eats at her house, despite the guidelines Grandma knows we have. I speak up, but Hubby won't, and so I am made to be the "bad guy." The other night, my son wouldn't eat his dinner, so Grandma asked if he wanted cookies and ice cream instead. I said no, since he didn't eat dinner. Grandma got up and gave him the treats anyway. Later, she gave him candy without my permission. The next day (he slept over), it was donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast, cookies and Sprite (with aspartame) for a snack, candy and popcorn, a Happy Meal with chocolate milk and fries, followed by more Sprite and cookies. Hubby was there the whole time and shares my beliefs, but won't stand up to "Mommy." What's worse is on the rare times when my wishes are

My brother and his wife are expecting and for Christmas I'd like to get them a gift certificate for a photographer to get pictures taken of the three of them and the baby once the baby is born. My problem is that I live in IL and they live in St. Paul MN so I'm not sure where to get the certificate for? I was hoping for a nicer place than a Sears or something. If you were expecting would you like it if someone gave you that?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. :)

i've been a foster kid for 10 years (about 15 different families). the one i'm with now has had me for a year and is the worst of them all. i haven't looked up online the odds of older trailer trash like me being adopted, but i'm pretty sure they're low. most of the adopted kids i know of are under age 5. but anyway, is there a way for me to get out of this hell-house, even if it means going to a different one? and don't say contact you're social worker, she hasn't been by in over 6 mo. and when she did. she saw the situation me and the other kids were in and did NOTHING> it's gotten worse by now too.

But whereas the older parents are much better and they look after their children more effectively than young parents. My son is 5 months old this week and doing excellent with breastfeeding. However, he eats so much and I work part time 20 hours a week. I pump milk for daycare but many times he runs out before I pick him up and I'm barely pumping enough for the next day's use. His ped. said I could supplement with formula in emergency situations and when needed, I have tried pumping and storing extra milk but I pump enough for 1 day in advance and my son eats the rest. He's 18lbs already! He is on solids as well, rice and oatmeal cereal as well as veggies and fruits.

I was wondering what formula would be best to purchase for these situations. I have heard Nutramigen would be best. Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated. I'm also wondering how your infant handled the transition? Gassy? Irritable?

My husband has an anxiety disorder and he can't handle watching our infant son for a few hours without getting totally overwhelmed and feeling that it's a waste of his time. He says he doesn't have instincts like I do. (so the problem's not ALL physiological)
Besides a smack in the head, what can help him? Or should I just write him off as an invalid?

I have 3 BEAUTIFUL babies with my husband of 6 years. Our oldest son just turned 3, our daughter is 17 months and our youngest son is 3 months. I don't know how many times I get the "Oh my goodness! Why did you have them so close together?" question. Why does it matter? I know that some people are just curious, but many of them say it with disgust almost. Like they can't believe that someone would want to have so many children so close together. Like I'm crazy or something. I've gotten to the point that I get kind of snippy with people.

What's a better way to answer them without going into a detailed discussion of our family plan but not being rude either?

Does anyone else ever get that "look" when you tell people the age difference of your children? I know that my mom gets the same look when people realize how far apart in age me and my siblings are. (At least 4 years between all 5 of us)

Hey everyone! I'll be 18 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have a alil bump but im not big at all by any means. Recently, over the past 2 weeks especially ive noticed that im getting this weird pain in the right side of my back when im standing or walking around a lot. It almost feels like a strain in my muscles that won't go away till i sit down...when im at the mall walking around it starts to sometimes kick in when ive been on my feet for a while and seems to get worese the more i stand. I was wondering if this could be due to the baby even though im not that big yet. Could it be that the baby is more towards my back and thats the reason for the pain and for maybe why im not as big as some at almost 5 months. This is my first pregnancy. Thanks!

My son is 5 months and is now in his "I love to jump like crazy" phase. Mommy's lap has taken a toll from his heavy, bouncing bum and I'd like to know what type of baby gear would be good for him? We live in a teeny tiny apartment and an exercauser or jumperoo would take up way too much room. I've seen those doorway hanging jumpers but am unsure if it's safe? Can you tell me your experiences with it or do you know of anything similar that allows him to jump without taking up lots of room?

watching tv and seeing many people with gender identity confusion is scary. we have a 15 month old son and it would be hard to find out one day that he doesn't like girls! I know it's a horrible thought to have, I can't help it.
right now he seems to be really interested in all of Daddy's toys, he has transformers and cars and our son is always pretending to drive them and make car noises and makes roaring noises with tigers and other toys. He also loves my baby doll that I have and he's always trying to help me cook and clean and is always wanting to kiss any little babies that we see out in public. Is it too early to see any signs of gender confusion?

My 2nd baby is 7 weeks old today... a few weeks ago we discovered that she has reflux, and thrush. She is just about over the thrush, and the reflux is doing a lot better too.. she only has it in the evenings for a few hours. We tried giving her cereal to help calm the episodes, and it seems to work, but the next day she eats very little and is extremely unhappy all day long. She is only happy and not crying when she is asleep. My husband and I both are finding it very frustrating.. and I just need to know if anyone has any ideas on how we can help each other relax... and gain more patience with the little one. I feel terrible for getting so angry at times with her... I had to walk away from her 3 different times yesterday because it just vecame too much.

It can be at the beginning of the feed, middle of towards this end.

Why is she doing this?

Sometimes I wind her, and there is a burp coming out, sometimes no burp and she gets really annoyed because I took her away from the breast.
