My daughter is pregnant and I was wondering if someone gives here a shower...who usually is gives it? In other words is it in bad taste for the mother to give it?

okay well everyone is talking about ovulating and stuff but if i just got off of my period i couldnt possibly get pregnant right? =S ...like i really dont think breast tenderness can start so early...im excited and scared at the same time, so can you get pregnant at anytime or just when you are ovulating? im so confused. because i was not ovulating when this could have happened....

how many weeks does it take for a pregnancy test to show positive. my cycle came on twice feb. at begining. at end of march 23 it came again. did i get preg feb or march? can you get preg 2 days before period? I counted 40 weeks from due date it lead to end of march in middle of cycle? When did I get preg? before or after last period

Hey All :(
This is Jessica Zazy's friend ( she told me to tell y'all that she's in the hospital she had to have a surgery on her leg, but she will be out tomorrow).
( This is pretty much a rant but i need to get my emotions out). My boyfriend of a year & three month's ( I'm 16), broke up with me today. He said he * needed he's space & that he didn't love me anymore*. Well as you can imagine I'm completely heart-broken. He was my first boyfriend, & my first real love. My heart feels like somebody took a hammer & hit my heart over & over. I feel lost, I feel so lonely. I can't even imagine going to school tomorrow & seeing him in almost all of my classes.
Okay my sad rants over. Has this happened to anybody else? How did you start healing?

Where will OCY take our baby?
OCY has been overseeing my boyfriend since he was a freshman in high school.
His father came and went all the time and finally his mother kicked him out for good.
His mother did most of the raising of him and his two older brothers. (both of his older brothers live on their own now.)
Lately,OCY has been looking very closely at his mom. Truthfully, she's the nicest woman I have ever met.
She just made some mistakes (just as all of us do and have.) She started buying my boyfriend cigarettes when he was in the 7th grade.
My boyfriend has been smoking since, and drinks, chews, basically everything. I don't have a problem with smoking or drinking. It just takes the edge off you a little bit.
His mother has been excellent to me and him. We both are juniors in high school and when we found out that I was pregnant my parents did not want much to do with me, and I don't want anything to do with them either. Honestly, I never have. We just never met eye-to-eye and they never understood me.
So I am currentley living with my boyfriend and his mother and I am a lot happier being with them.
OCY comes to our school and talks to both of us all the time and have been asking me lots of questions about my pregnancy and have reports and documents on everything of the both of us. I really don't want them to take away our baby girl. I understand that we are not the perfect family, and are seventeen but we can take care of our own kid.
My friend told me that once they take the kid out of the home they put it up for adoption.

Where will they take our baby?

I had sex with a woman a month ago. She got her period last Thursday. She takes birth control pills. She took a pregnancy test about a week and a half ago and it came back negative, as in not pregnant. My question is, can someone be pregnant and still have bleeding? I am worried sick, and I am just wondering if I should be worried. My friends say that I am a worry-wart, and that I'm overly paranoid. Thanks everyone, and btw, don't answer if you're going to be crude, judgemental, or rude. And only answer if you know the facts. I'm now 38 weeks, 1 day. My little girl has been at a +1 station since 35 weeks. I now am almost 3cm dilated, and had my membranes stripped today. I've had a bit of BH contractions, and at one time thought we were headed for preterrm labor, but they quit. I have been having a lot of cramping for quite some time now, and frankly I'm just tired of being prego! This is my third child, but this pregnancy is so much different than the other two. The first was induced at 37.5, and the 2nd was preterm at 35 weeks. Is there any hope now that my membranes have been stripped or will I be pregnant for 2+ more weeks???!!!

About 4 weeks ago my boyfriend fingered me
-He was touching me and touching himself at the same time, and I just cant remember if he touched me with the hand that he touched himself with. If he did, then there would possibly be a tiny tiny amount of pre-***, But I know he had not ejaculated yet.
-I was not ovulating, It was the 25th day of my cycle.
-After the incident, I started my period on the 30th day of my cylce. It was heavy, dark, and lasted 6 days. It Seemed very normal.
-No major symptoms that I have noticed.
-Do you think I could be pregnant? Im very worried and I know I shouldnt have been fooling around.. I learned a lesson.

Okay we don't know what we are having but we are trying to pick out names I have a few that I like but he does not seem to like them, his name is Kenneth Ray and I would like to name the baby after him but he does not like that idea to much I am not sure why but what do you think of these names.

and for a boy:
Kenneth Ryan and call him Ryan since he does not like using his name.

My 4 year old has talked incessantly for months about wanting a guitar and to learn how to play a guitar. I've been shopping around for children's guitars for Christmas and have found several that all are recommended for kids six and up. She's only 4..

Do you think she's too young for a guitar? Should I get her one and let her try it? I would really like for her to learn how to play it because she's a very musical child- she loves to dance and sing, etc., but I'm afraid starting her too early when she's not able to understand will make her decide later on not to try anymore.

With my last child, I knew exactly when implantation occurred and knew I was pregnant before any home pregnancy test confirmed it. I wasn't on the pill then. Now, I am having those same feelings (lower back pains, crampy feelings, etc.), but I am currently on the pill. Should I stop taking them for the next two weeks until I can take a test or continue taking them as normal? I was not really wanting to be pregnant, but I certainly don't want to do anything to harm the baby if there is one. On the flip side, if I am not pregnant I don't want to chance it by stopping the pill if I really don't need to. Any serious help is greatly appreciated.

i got a letter in the mail today saying that my newborn almost 2 weeks old had questionable results on her newborn screening test for sickle cell disease. it says that she needs to be retested and that she could have the disease or be a carrier of the disease or that she could have nothing wrong with her. what are the chances that there is nothing wrong with her? this is my first child and im scared to death.. thanks for any advice!
