MELLISA sperm lives 3 days max and that is if the acid levels are just right otherwise it is 48 hours and the male sperm dies first in 24 hours and the female lives 48-72 hours and the male sperm is faster at swimming then the female sperm and that is why it dies first ..................research before you answer ppl!!!!
and yes the egg lives 24 hours only!!!

It can happen, but it most likely would not. Women ovulate 12-16 days before their period. The egg is only fertilizable for about 24 hours. When you are on your period that old egg is being disposed of, and it's a week or 2 until you ovulate and another egg is released. Sperm lives for 5 days, so in 99% of all cases it would not live long enough to fertilize that next egg. A woman would have to have a very very short cycle length, less than 24 days in between period for there to even be a chance.

Any time a woman has unprotected sex she has a chance of getting pregnant. No two women ovulate alike.

Rare but happens. I wouldn't press your luck. Plus, if this is not a monogamous partner, you'd better be using a condom for your own protection.

It's not very likely to happen, but yes it can still happen. You only get pregnant while you're ovulating and most people aren't ovulating while on their period. BUT it's not impossible to get pregnant while you're on your period.
