My ex and his mother have hated me since I divorced him. Through all the court hearings over visitation and child support, I have had to listen to my ex call me a bad mother, money hungry, and tell people that I'm not concerned with my sons welfare. I have had to listen to him complain about paying child support(Even though it has only been $200 a month for 9 yrs.), complain about buying our son clothes(He claims I don't buy my son clothes, though my son has a closet and dresser that says otherwise), and tell people I spend the child support on myself. His mother is probably the worst about saying all these things to my son. My son constantly comes home and tells me things his grandma said about me, and some have been flat out lies. Just this weekend she told my son that his shoes looked trashy and "ITS NOT LIKE YOUR DAD DOESN'T PAY YOUR MOM ENOUGH CHILD SUPPORT.) ( I just got the child support increased and got the first new payment 5 days ago).She even told him that I had gotten....

alright i feel really really really stupid, but i just have a quick question. ok so before i ask, please know that i am not a total idiot and i do know about sex, but i just want to hear other people say it. alright so i was cuddling with my boyfriend. he had his pants and underwear on, and i had my underwear and a dress on, i can't get pregnant right? I hear all these people saying they are going away, or taking time for themselves this weekend, and I am starting to get jealous! I havent gone anywhere by myself for time, or holiday, or even with hubby, in 7 years so far.. (and counting!). Are there more moms out there who dont take holidays? (Where are they all?!? lol) Or is taking time away from the fam the 'norm'?

So here's the deal....AF is due on Thursday (11/8), but of course my curiousity got the best of me and I tested this morning. At first glance, it looks like a BFN, but when you look closely under the light, there is a very faint line. I'm wondering if that line is already there and that is why I am seeing it, or did it the test really detect a small amount of pregnancy hormone in my urine.... Please, give me your opinions!

I'm not sure if you have 'head girl' and 'head boy' in America or where ever you are from, but basically the staff and students choose a boy and a girl to represent the school. They have to be general all rounded students.

I started a new school in January this year and I knew the already elected head girl from a previous school. I thought she was a nice girl.

Recently we had a rugby game between our year group and the one below us. I heard our head girl say 'I wish all these black people would get the f*** out of the way, there's too many n*ggers at this school, white people are the majority, that's the way it should be'.

I live in New Zealand, a generally harmonious country!

I know there are extremists everywhere. I'm sports prefect so I have to spend a bit of time with her. The year is coming to an end, and I can't stand this girl! We have to be friendly for prize giving and other events.

Any suggestions?

I go to a mums and tot's group and my daughter 19 months is quiet and never snatches toys she lets other snach off her and the other day an older child was being nasty to her i kept going to my daughter and giving her somthing else to play with etc and moved my daughter just before the girl tried to pinch her .The mother of the other girl was not watching at all.What woul you have done i could not say anything to the girl as she's not mine but i don't like my baby being pushed about and being walked over i don't want her to grow up letting other push her about but don't want her to be a nasty grabing child any ideas thanks

I have a friend that's pregnant like me and actually due this month. She is on bedrest and had to pick her child up from school b/c she is acting out bad enough that she's telling the principal of the school, "yeah, you go ahead, just call the police!!!" My friend is at her wits end. I asked about her discipline methods and she said she doesn't spank b/c she (the mom) has an anger problem and refuses to on the account that she's scared that she won't stop.

How in the world are they suppose to put the fear of god in this child so that she'll learn that she needs to stop acting out? The mom is running out of ideas. She's already taking things away like the t.v. in her room and the phone privledges. What else do you think?

my 5 y/o son hate veggies... and he don't have appetite to eat... he loves to eat junk foods... which we always say to him "junk foods are not good for health"... but he still ask for it...
we had his annual check up and he weigh same as he weigh when he was 3.5 y/o... how can we make him love the veggies, bring back his appetite to eat and make him healthier ?

Okay, here's the low down. As everyone knows, when you have a baby, you get in a rut (sometimes) financially and/or emotionally. My daughter is 1 year old now, I am in a continuos battle with her mom (she is continuously saying we have no money) I bought my daughter a 500.00 crib (the one that turns into a bed after time, and per "mom's" wants) any ways, I can count the times my daughter has slept in the crib with both hands. Her mom lets her sleep on the floor with her, and now a year later (its 12:27am) and the baby is still up, I tried putting her in the crib again and AGAIN (tough love) to get her on a sleeping schedule, but mom and I keeps arguing because I want her in the crib, and she wants to sleep with the baby on the floor, which at times she (our daughter) stays up late and then wakes up late. My question is, does that make me a bad father because I want her in the crib to learn a sleeping schedule, and also feel like I wasted 500.00 on a crib we're not using?

heres the story - for the last few months ive been un-employed due to a apprenticeship falling through. I didnt have enough qualifications or confidence and no matter how many interviews i attended i never got the job. Since then ive been signing on and because of that new deal put me on a jobseeker course so i could still be entiteled to money. Since they organised the course i found out im about 7 1/2 weeks pregnant. My morning sickness is really bad most days (and nights) meaning i now cant attend the course. I've been warned that not attending means losing all money until i am 29 weeks gone and can claim income support.
What do i do... I cant make it in but cant do with losing my money....Is there anything else i can claim until 29 weeks?

As a new mother, maybe I'm being panicky.

For the past 3 days my 2 month old has been really cranky. He's having problems sleeping during the day and he cries as if in pain. He was very colicky before but that seems to be passing and now when he cries he doesn't show the normal colic signs. He's also having problems feeding - he's hungry but he seems to play with his bottle in his mouth and he kicks his legs like he's fighting. A friend suggested that maybe his mouth might be sore from sucking on the bottle. I've never had problems with these bottles before, why now?

I am having a lot of trouble finding plastic sheets for my kid’s beds. I have been to a few shops here (Tasmania, Australia), and people look at me like I am crazy.
I know they exist, because I have a couple which were bought maybe 10 years ago. Just wondering if any of you parents know where I could possibly find them in Australia, maybe over the Internet?
Mine are falling to bits, and my kids have only recently been toilet trained and I don't want them wrecking their mattresses. Any suggestions would be good.
