I have a 4 year old Daughter. her tantrums have become few and far between, so I take her more places. anyway, last night I went to target with her, When I bring her with we always bring my 2 year old home a surprise for staying home with daddy. Well she wasnt happy about the surprise that I got for her sister so she decided to throw a tantrum right there in the dollar section at Target. At first I tryed to ignor it, thinking that if I started walking away she would follow. (diddnt happen) I left my cart and picked her up to go out to the car. (I also had my 13 year old along so I was going to leave her in the car with him and go back in and pay for my stuff) Anyway, on the way out to the car people were glareing at us. It really made me very angry. Well we got to the car and I had a talk with my daughter, and she promised to be good. we went back in and she was the perfect little girl. my question is, How could I have handled the situation better to please these glareing, perfect

I am going to be 8 wks pregnant on tuesday... and for the past couple weeks ive been spot bleeding just here and there. Nothing excessive. Ive had no pains or cramps. I went to a place like those planned parenthood things and they told me you can bleed through your whole pregnancy... and i had a question on here early and got different answers but still not sure what to think. my ob/gyn is booked solid for a few weeks til i can get in and i dont know if the planned parenthood could help me or not... Im not sure what to think about it and ive done a few pregnancy tests and they have all come back positive. im just confused and not being able to see a doctor soon doesnt really help but i have no other choice i dont think. any help is greatly appreciated. THANKS

is it bad to take the birth control pill an hour late or an hour early?
if you take the pill at 9:30pm, are you supposed to take it at 8:30pm now since the time has changed? I know it sounds stupid but it's better to ask than be sorry later on.

We started giving our 6 month old baby oatmeal in his bottle ever since 5 months, and when we dont add the oatmeal to his formula he cries for more formula and he could drink up to 10oz no prob with out oatmeal,, the funny thing also is that he dosnt seem to be gaining alot of weight from it. ( i heard that babies gain alot more weight if you add oatmeal to there feedings) Is it normal to feed a baby oatmeal in his bottle every feeding? ( I know that its not recommed by pedi's to add anything to the formula because of the risk of choking.) but He also seems more happier and full when we add oatmeal.


So do you think its ok to add oatmeal to his formula every feeding?

Why isnt he gaining alot more weight? ( bearly a pound a week)

Do i need to put something in the baby's crib so if she spits up or her diaper leaks it doesnt go to the mattress? (even though its waterproof type material..) or do i just need a fitted crib sheet in their and thats it? If i do need a mattress pad/liner does it go under the sheet or over??

I am a single mother of twin boys that are 5. It was about 7:30 a.m. on sunday. My kids usually sleep in till about 9 or so. So I usually get up right before them. Well they woke up early. My littlest son desided to take my burse which I had right beside me and go through it in his room. He found my lighter, as my oldest one states what happened. " He started to burn a cryon and then he did it to the bed, but he tried to put it out." Since he couldn't put it out they came and got me up. They said the bed was on fire. I freaked, I grab a cup and then I grabed a bowl took as much water as a could. Anyways it ended up I ran and got my neighbor and he put it out with the hose.

After the fire was out I called my mom to comepick them up cause I didnt know what to do. My dad had him sit in one spot all day. Didn't get to do anything. But is that enough.he knows what he did wrong, but is there something else I should do? I just need some insight, on what i should do next?

i had my son on the 20th of july he is at home and doing great no medical problems at all. but the day before i had him i was cramping and spotting and i went to the hospital(at like 2am) to make shure that every thing was ok. they told me i had a bladder infection & to take some antibodytics (sp?) expect cramping and stick it out. well i did untill about 2am the next day (20th) and when i got there i was 7cm dilated(sp?) and had him with in an hour of getting there. my question is should i file a suit because i was at the hospital telling them something was wrong and they sent me home with out doing a ultrasound or a pelvic exame. or should i count my blessings that my son is alive and doing great.

My bf and I had sex on my b-day 10/27 and didn't use protection. I have my yearly appointment Friday. I know it is still way to early to tell but can the nurse do a test to find out? And if I go to the gym and do my normal 1 1/2 work out will everthing be okay. I usually run/walk for 30 minutes, cross trainner for 20-30 then machines and free weighs. I haven't went just because I want everything to be okay just in case I am pregnant.
