I have been pregnant three times. Each time I had bleeding. The first pregnancy did end in miscarriage. The second pregnancy ended up in the birth of my daughter. I bled, however, from 5 weeks until 15 weeks. I am currently pregnanct with my third and had bled from 9 weeks until 15 weeks. I am now currently 18 weeks and the baby is doing fine. Some women just bleed during pregnancy. All of my bleeding episodes were painless EXCEPT for the miscarriage. This last pregnancy I had the worst spells of bleeding (red and a lot of it) which landed me in the ER at 2:30 am, one morning. I am surprised that your OB won't see you right away because you are having spotting issues. Sounds to me like you need to look for a new OB that will take you seriously! Good luck!

I had a miscarriage last year, and although everyone is different, it started out with spotting but no pain. However, the bleeding became progressively worse and cramping eventually started. There were also "clots" in the blood. I certainly don't want to scare you by telling you this, I'm just letting you know what to look for. If you're just spotting and nothing else, the baby is probably fine. It's true, a lot a women spot all throughout their pregnancies. Good luck...I hope everything is ok.

Hello there, you poor thing, it is really hard when you get so many people telling you alot of different things, and it confuses you more. Honestly i do know people who have spot bleeding and some who do have periods all the way through, I'm not impressed at all that ob/gyn can not see you that is awful, i would ring the nurse at your local doctors and tell them what is happening and tell them that you cant get into your ob/gyn, and if that is no joy go straight into the emergency department at your hospital, if you are close enough to do so, and you will get it sorted one way or another, and please try to relax as best as you can even though i know its easier said than done, best wishes to you and your child, I've had 3 children and a miscarriage so i do know what it is like. Chin up and all the best to you. :)

You should call your doctor and ask him/her to write up a lab order so you can go get your HCG levels checked. What they will do is take your blood and then you go back 2 days later and they draw blood again. They compare the results. If you are OK the HCG levels will be higher than the first test, but if you are miscarrying the levels will be the same or lower. I had 3 early miscarriages and never had cramping with any of them, so that is not always an indication that everything is OK.

First, I don't know what type of insurance you have but in a normal case your OB would see you when bleeding's involved. Worse case if you can't be seen, go to emergency. I have Kaiser and when I was bleeding at 4 months I went to emergency. It was a small price to pay for my baby's life and for mine and my husbands piece of mind. Right now is a very critical time in your pregnancy and you should be checked out. Bleeding when you are pregnant is normal but why not make sure that everything is OK? Good luck to you.

Most women do not bleed throughout their pregnancy. This is very rare. The only time I did this was when I miscarried (at 8 weeks), which happend over a few hours. It's possible that you are having "breakthrough bleeding", as your hormone levels aren't high enough. A good sign of a stable pregnancy is if you have having morning sickness. If not, I would probably worry. Try to rest, lying down, until you can get to an obstretician. This can prevent miscarriages in some cases. Good luck!

Dear just go to the ER if your OB/Gyn wont see you ASAP that way they can check on the baby and make sure all is well. I had some bleeding when I was pregnant with my six year old so try not to stress too much!

The doctor explained to me that spotting is ok in the first trimester. Can you get in to see another obgyn? What can planned parenthood do, will they see you?

confident, because of the fact the above answerer reported, once you're a virgin, it extremely is extra beneficial than common. in case you're no longer a virgin, it extremely is likewise extra beneficial than common. this happens to me quite oftentimes, notably if he hits your cervix. there is no longer something to rigidity approximately, yet once you sense mushy, communicate on your OBGYN at your assembly and she or he'll set you immediately. contained in the mean time, do no longer hardship!! solid luck!
