is it bad to take the birth control pill an hour late or an hour early?
if you take the pill at 9:30pm, are you supposed to take it at 8:30pm now since the time has changed? I know it sounds stupid but it's better to ask than be sorry later on.
Thanks in advance.

Its fine. Most pills aren't THAT strict. If you are on a low dose or low hormone pill, then simply use protection for a couple days if you are worried. Keep stickin' to your regular time. Otherwise, its all good. lol

I took my pill every morning. The days that I worked, that meant 5:00 am. The days that I was off, that meant 7:00 or 8:00am. I never got pregnant until I got off the pill completely almost two years later.

an hour evey now and then won't matter much. So if your schedule dictates 9:30 still do it at 9:30. But if you can do it at 8:30 then by all means don't miss that hour. And kudos to you for being responsible with birth control and asking when you weren't sure. That show maturity.

Yes they want you to take it at the same time every day, but I don't think 1 hour is going to affect you one way or the other.

One hour won't make that much of a difference. I was told only if it's 4 or more hours different would it cause a problem.
