OMG...

My best friends mom recomended that I try Castor Oil because it made her go into labor with all three of her kids. So we went on a wild goose chase to find the stupid Castor Oil and eventually found it. Lets just say that I can't go more than a quick running distance from my toilet! I have never felt so sick in my life and I swear that if I sit on that toilet one more time my rear end is going to start bleeding from the whole roll of toilet paper I have used.

HOW DO I MAKE THE DIARHEA STOP????? Oh I hope someone has an answer for me....I'm dying over here!

It seems to be constant all day, she never seems to get a break from the sickly feelings. Does anybody have any idea's on how to make things easier for her or is this just part of the storm we will have to ride out?

Ok... so me and my girlfriend have only been together 5months. We are totally in love. ive had a very long relationship before (so has my girlfriend) and we both agree that what we have got is so much more than what weve had in the past. i dream of no one but her. i want no one but her.

Yesterday, we found out she's pregnant with my baby.
We always thought if ever that happened it would be easy - we are too young, its expensive, we havnt been together that long etc...
but.... we've made a baby, life's most precious gift - suddenly it isnt as easy as we thought it would be.
If we decide to have it, it would have an amazing mum, and i know i would do everything to be a great father. but...
Its expensive to raise a child, i wouldnt want my children to live in a broken home or have two seperate single parents, but in the same breath, my sister struggled to conceive after an abortion, if we decide to have a baby in a few years and we cant, we would be distraught.
help.

I'm going into hospital this afternoon to have my baby by c/section tomorrow.
Any ideas of what I might need to take?
Were there any items that you thought of afterwards that would have been useful if you'd thought of them sooner? i.e One friend suggested I take some paracetamol with me.
All suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I go to the dr today and last week she told me that at this appt if im still pregnant she will schedule a date to have me induced... how long do they usually wait to induce over due pregnancys....? Ok i have this friend and she thinks shes pregnant and i dont know what to tell her because of how she explains her feelings . She said her breast are hurting,no vomitting but She said her last period was in August and it's now Nov. I know you thinking well yeah shes pregnant but she is always stressed and thats one thing i know stress will keep your period away. And she has thought she was pregnant alot of other times also because of her irreugular periods. She said sometimes they come on time and sometimes they will come a 1 or 2 later but this time like i said Aug. Now Nov. She has also been cramping but no bleeding . I just dont know what to tell her when i was pregnant with my child my sign was cramping without bleeding and missed period.......what do i tell her ??? Thanks for the answers!

I'm 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow and last week I heard the heart beat at my midwife appointment. Thing is, I havent started to show at all, sometimes my stomach goes hard then other times it is still 'normal'. I am quite tall 5'10" and a normal weight. I havent felt it move yet either. Should I be worried and whats other peoples experience at this time?

Last night I started having contractions that were 3-5 minutes apart, so I called the MBU 2 1/2 hours later and they told me to come in. They checked my cervix and said that I was still 3cm but that I was now 90% effaced (I had been 75% for over a month) and that the baby had gone from -1 to +1 since the previos day when I had my doctors visit. Anyways, they hooked me up to the monitor and the contractions kept coming at MOST 5 minutes apart. They said the contractions weren't consistent or strong enough to admit me, so we ended up coming home. Well my contractions have stayed between 3-5 minutes since last night...and it's not like they are getting any more painful... so what now? I was told that some women won't be consistant and they won't feel the contractions until their water breaks....but how do you get admited if your water doesn't break and you still aren't feeling your contractions? How will I know to go back? What if baby keeps dropping and I don't dialate anymore?

My precious little man is one year old on 30 November! I can't beleive this year has gone so fast!

I want to do something special for his birthday but have no idea what!

We have very little money and won't be able to get all the family together as my partner's family live 250 miles away.

Any ideas of what we could do on a shoestring with just me, my partner, my mum and my brother?

My period started 9/30 and ended 10/4. I had intercourse twice on 10/7 and used a condom both times. While I know that condoms are not 100%, I was always taught that ovulation is two weeks before the start of the next period. How is this possible?

And I was not pregnant before I had sex.

I have a delimma and need some advice. My daughter is 11, taller than me but still so immature for her age. She doesnt brush her teeth properly, (still yellow and yucky) and I have shown her repeatedly and the dentist also has. If I cant get her to brush her teeth without being prompted and when she does so get her to do it properly, should I fight this battle? Or should I just brush her teeth for her? I am concerned but dont know what else to do?

I was recently told that I wouldn't be able to have children of my own. When I looked into adoption I discovered that it is incredibly expensive. It is less expensive to adopt a child that is waiting here in the US but the children that are listed are all over 10 or have pretty severe disablities.
Maybe I am naive but I have always heard about the countless nameless children that need a forever family and now that I am at a point where I could provide one I feel like I am getting smacked in the face with all of these fees for opening my home and heart.
Anyone have any great ideas on how to fundraise for an adoption or a website or agency to look into?

Sample of (cloudy) urine to Dr came back with bacteria but no white cells in it, so they wanted repeat. Baby has lost 3 ounces over last 2 weeks when usually puts on about 8 ounces. Slightly more sleepy than usual, totally breast feeding usually very settled but has become fractious when feeding, pulling off and crying as if in sudden pain. Could be teething but dont think this is the cause. Bowel actions seem healthy. Baby clingy but otherwise still smiles and makes happy noises.
