I go to a group session for depression every Tuesday night and found myself getting very angry with a girl who comes from Denmark wanting to return, saying it was a better place for her to grow up and that the UK wasnt! It was fine for her to get her education here and earn her leaving but now it s not good enough for her children. I happen to think that the UK is a great place to bring up a child, any thoughts?

I am always fighting with my mother in law because she thinks the baby should be grown up hwer way but I think the baby should listen to mom and go by her rules... because of all those fights I get into fight with my husband. I am very scared to lose my husband and don't want to fight with my mother in law... what do people do in those situations???

A little more complicated than you may think. First, I donated blood on the first day of my cycle. Second, had intercourse twice on the 17th day of my cycle, but he ejaculated outside of me. Third, I've been kind of stressed looking for a new job. My cycles are usually longer, 32-36 days. I took a pregnancy test after I was a week late and it was negative. Now its two weeks later and still no period. What do you think?

Our last name is Jakes (rhymes with cakes) and while we really like the name 'Atlas Jakes', my family hate it. I mean REALLY hate it.

Now I can't tell if I have just de-senstitsed myself to the name or is the name really that bad, and would be a bad idea to name a child?

I can't take a step back and see if it really is a crap name or a cool one.

Aussie based readers can you help???...

a few years ago i saw a story on either today tonite or a current affair about a couple who are based in Queensland i think who run a kind of 'retreat' (not the correct term but as close as i can think to explain it) for couples who are having trouble conceiving. through various natural therapies etc used by this couple huge numbers of couples have successfully fallen pregnant after years of conventional medicine had failed them.

im pretty sure the couple were a married couple, and that they had gotten extremely busy and i think maybe their daughter and her husband had taken over the business.

im trying to find out what they are called- i have a friend that i would like to pass this info onto but dont want to mention it to her till i can give her all the details.

it would mean a great deal if anyone can offer any info.

well my babies are 11 weeks old and low and behold i am pregnant again. how it happened i have no idea. well i do but...
we used a condom the condom did not break. so i am completely puzzled by it. i dont even know how late i am. i am brestfeeding my girls right now so my cycle is crazy now. being pregnant again is not a bad thing just totally unexpected. we weren't even thinking about having another baby. we are totally happy with our four girls. more than happy. blessed. i love them more and more every passing day. never thought i could love someone as much as i love my daughters. my question is how old were ur babies when you got pregnant again? and how could i have gotten pregnant again using a condom that was in no way defective or torn? nothing seemed wrong with it.

I'm 9 weeks pregnant and for the last week all of my symptoms have dissapeared, I had very sore boobs and i was extremally tired also i had heartburn and morning sickness ( although i was not actually vomiting) all of these symptoms have now dissapeared.
I am so worried that i have misscarried.
Has anyone had anything similar?

how long of a wait did you have once the background checks and home study was completed?
We want to adopt a child 1 and under. I know about the "legally free" and the "legally at risk" categories that the state has and would prefer to adopt a child who is "legally free"
I have been searching all over the web and cant really find any adoption boards that have more than a few pages. Or any place to find others that have adopted children 1 and under from the state foster care system.
Do you know any helpful websites that I could check out?

I am currently 7 weeks postpartum and have been exclusively breastfeeding my second baby. I had only 2 weeks of postpartum bleeding, one week of nothing and then, what seemed like a normal period. My hubby and I started having sex again, w/protection, at 4 weeks postpartum. This past weekend, starting Thurs., I began feeling, well, just not right. My stomach hurt, I was nauseaus, extremely tired, slight cramping, really hungry, and just really moody. This past Monday night, I started having spotting,barely anything, mostly only when I wiped, that went away Tues. afternoon. My question is, how many of you had this similar thing happen to you and ended up being pregnant? I know what the symptoms are and all that, but I just wanted to see if it was some weird thing having to do with breastfeeding. (My first wouldn't breastfeed so I didn't have to deal with this last time around.)

As those of you who have read my previous post, I had a miscarriage and D&C a month and a half ago. What I would like to know, who of you have had a miscarriage and managed to fall pregnant again quite soon afterwards, by soon, I mean two or three months after trying again? I am 37 weeks pregnant today and have started having what seems like mild cramps in my lower stomach. My doctor told me last week that i haven't started dilating. Could the cause of the cramps be because I have started to dilate now? I am really scared this is my first child and I dont know what to expect. I can't tolerate pain.

have been in the teen pre teen section and i am really scared for the youth of today 14yr old girls already pregnant or being asked to have them. they are not even of legal age yet. what the hell are parents doing because supervision is obviously not going on in some homes. kids are a huge responsibility and our kids are just that for such a short time we should be encouraging them to play or do sport & hide the sausage is neither of these. am i alone in my thinking is it me or has society gone mad?

My friend is being adamant about wanting to be in the labor/delivery room with me when my daughter finally arrives. When she gave birth, she had family and friends in there with her (single mother). However, I am completely opposite! I only want my husband in there-I dont even want people to know Im in labor because I dont want to feel pressured and feel like everyone is waiting for me. The way I see it, my husband and I made this baby together-its a personal thing and its an experience I think only he and I should have together alone (aside from healthcare providers). Am I wrong to feel this way? How do I tell my friend without coming across as cold or a prude?

I'm single and really trying to find a long term relationship. Lets face it yall. Kids are ALOT of work, money, TIME, etc. I'm not going to lie - I love sleeping till noon, goin to the movies when I feel like it, etc. BUT something does feel like it's missing inside me -- Do you think if I had a child I would wish I was not a mother or something like that? How do I know being a mother is even right for me?? It's not like you can "test" motherhood out, etc. Then I hear so many horror stories about pregnancy and child birth....I'm afraid if I don't have kids I will have missed out then again if I do, I won't be right for motherhood (I once insisted on buying $150 heels that I never wore, lol).

my period is due today with no sign yet! ttc for 7 months now. i have a spot on 28 day cycle and it usually arrives in the morning but i've had minimal cramping and i have noticed my breasts are still a bit sore when usally this goes away before my period. i've also noticed a redish circle to the side or my areola and just wondering if anyone has any ideas?
