HPT stands for Home Pregnancy Test. It refers to the urine tests that you can buy at the chemist or local store. The instructions are included in the packet but generally you hold the test in your urine stream as you wee then wait the recommended time (usually 5 minutes) then read the results

HPT= Home Pregnancy Test

Home Pregnancy Test claim to be 99% accurate, I have taken 2 the day after af was due and it was negative and I still have no period, I think that testing at the right time is a big thing to do with accuracy try to take the test a week after AF is due if you hold off that long! Use FMU (first morning urine) when you levels would be high enough!

I hope this helps~

Its a home pregnancy test and as long as it has been two weeks since conception and you have missed a period you should have an accurate result. Try confirm or clear blue brand of tests. Test with your first morning wee for highest concentrate of hcg level.

best of luck
