1st. You and your husband should be a team not fighting.
If you live with your mother in law move out and get your own place, If she babysits for you, find someone else to take care of the baby if you have to work. Or tell your husband your staying home and he can get a second job. What is the point of fighting with his mother. Just keep your distance and you won't have these issue. Your not going to get her to do it your way..

Stop fighting with her just because you want to be right. Tell her that if and when her opinion is wanted you will ask and for now you just need her to keep her mouth shut so you can develop your own skills as a parent without her on your back.

Sometimes the bigger person is the one who says nothing. (you in this case) Ignore her after telling her the above if she persist's and if she gets no reaction she will stop after a while. The more you argue the more she will want to interfere. Make it quite clear that you love her and appreciate her but the opinions on child rearing need to stop.

Stop fighting with your mother in law. Very calmly tell her it is none of her business how you raise YOUR child and then leave the room (or the house if necessary) before you get in to a fight with her.

Mother in laws suck. It's not enough to raise their own kids and let them grow up and make their own decisions. They go for the juglar and want to raise the grandkids too! All while fighting the actual mom and causing friction in lives that can be successfully run without their meddling. Go back to baking cookies and being on standby by when your Needed! Please!!
