I wasnt talking about people trying to conceive!

I was talking about the kind of questions that show a lot of people are either not paying attention in class or dont have access to information ... perhaps cos of that silly lets tell they about virginity and abstinence but keep them ignornat about sex campaign?

As for symptoms of pregancy and what they are ... is your local library TOTALLY bereft of books on women's health issues?

SCARY!

yea kinda. . .. Or at least better education. We all talk about it. Why don't we all write our school boards, The department of education, and our congressmen/women. Seriously we've got to make things change. For many it's to late but there is still hope for a few.

You can tell them all you want, you can even make their grades dependent on it, but STILL, when all is said and done, they are only going to hear what they want to hear.

And what they want to hear these days is "you can have sex, nothing is more important than having sex, all the cool kids on TV are having SEX!".

Most of these kids already know better. They're just trying to split hairs so they can have it both ways. You can tell from their questions (what if he only goes in an inch or two, what about if I'm on top, what if it's only a little bit of sperm that he put in with his fingertip, what if we only had one condom but did it two times). They all want someone to tell them that all it takes to keep from getting pregnant is to not want to be pregnant. Why are they all pushing the envelope? Because they're too immature, because they're under huge pressure to have sex earlier and earlier, and because their bodies want to make babies even if their puny little brains don't.

We've given them permission to do whatever they want, so all bets are off. Chastity belts and sex-segregated schools would work better than sex education at this point.

NO, not every single person asking that question is a child, what the hell, why does everyone assume such a moronic thing. I'm an adult, I have been happily married for quite some time and I like MANY of the people who ask that question had been and am once again trying to concieve. Most often it is very wishful thinking, but I did ask that question when I concieved my twins, who i'm grateful to say are now a year old, but I was so afraid of getting a negative result after 3 years of trying, 100s of negative results and miscarriage that I wanted to get some honest personal thoughts and experiences from other women who had already been blessed with children. And YES we know that know one can tell us if we're pregnant or not, we're just looking for a glimmer of hope and some words of encouragement.

Yes and at home also. I just don't see how teens don't know birth control is free at the health department.
It is just a shame that they do not know enough to go and get put on birth control or to use condoms.

This is the age of information. These girls have got to know how to protect themselves and yet they dont. This area is always full of ??'s about missed periods, when to take a test, how to know if he gave you the clap and where can I get the morning after pill.

Girls, wake up. The threats to your health, your life as you know it and your reproductive future are REAL. Unprotected sex CAN KILL YOU. YOU CAN and WILL GET PREGNANT.

Dont be so damn dumb!

ignoring problems wont make them go away
