totally!! This usually passes by the first trimester (14wks).
Sometimes toward the end of pregnancy you can start to feel it again but more exhausted than lethargically tired. OR you can go the complete opposite and get real imsomnia like many women do in the last few weeks.
I guarantee you though that between 16-26weeks you will be feeling ontop of the world! so look forward to that.
Best of luck and congratulations!

Im with you there!! Im about 6-7weeks now and am almost asleep standing up most of the time, particularly in the afternoon. Its completely normal, in my experience anyway, this is my sixth pregnancy and if you think about it, even though theres not much to show for as far as being pregnant at six weeks theres alot going on backstage! Your body is doing so much hard work at the moment that its not surprising your knackered! Get as much rest as you can, sleep, sleep and then sleep a bit more!! Anyway the tiredness gets a bit less overwhelming when you get through the first three months, so dont feel bad about turning down invitations from mates to go out and about just go with your instincts and rest while you can. x

Yes it can feeel like that. If you have time in the day for short naps this may help a bit......Usually after about 12 weeks you will get some energy back, those early weeks can make you feel like this dont worry it gets a little better and then near the end you cant sleep again......hey ho....its all worth it in the end.........Congratulations and good luck.

im 4 weeks 5 days and im totally exausted too it is normal and it will last until about 16 weeks then you will get a energy burst .if you start feeling really tired its your body telling you to rest there is a lot going on inside you at the mo .if you dont start picking up by twelve weeks though see your doc because you might need to have iron supplements or if your really worried see your doc sooner .good luck.xxxx

Unfortunatley yes i hated the first 12 weeks cause of sickness and tiredness i was horrible to be around i had to question why i was putting myself through it all. But then i hit the 4 month stage and i was like a different person i litterally woke up and it was like i had a spring in my step and i loved it.The tiredness will end. Eat plenty of fruit and drink lots of water and find high energy foods to eat for breakfast it will set you up for the day. Good luck xx

Yes, Bunny, it's very natural to feel tired in early pregnancy, whilst your body's adjusting to carrying, feeding and protecting another life.
Try not to fight it, and sleep, whenever you can, as much as you can - even if this means taking endless cat-naps and going to bed straight after supper. It's the only way to avoid prolonging the fatigue much later into the pregnancy.
Nite-nite.

Yes, it is normal to feel tired when you are pregnant. I was like that with my oldest, a little bit with my second, and almost the whole pregnancy with my youngest, it got worse towards the end with him.
