My son will be 1 year on the 30th of November...this month!! He is still not sleeping thru the night. He still wakes up to eat once, sometime between 4:30 and 5am. He eats table food regularly. I give him a big solid meal 2 hours before bed and an 8oz bottle right before bed. He takes 2, 2hour naps during the day. The last one is 4 hours before bed time. He gets worn out during the day. I have created a night time routine.

What I do when he wakes up. I get up as soon as he cries. I give him his pacifier back, change his diaper and put him back to sleep. If still wont sleep I give him his pacifier back(if he need it) if not, I just pat him. If still wont go to sleep I feed him.

How can I get him to sleep? And please no stupid CIO comments. I don't have the heart fot that and it dosn't work on my son(I have tried it a couple of times) He just gets more worked up and eventually hyperventilates.

Does anyone know why he is doing this? At 1 the dont NEED to eat at night..do they?

What does it look like and where does it occur? I have an itchy stomach and back of my thighs. I can feel but not see any raised dots. Is this the start of P.U.P.P.P? And what does it stand for again?

I have my next appointment in 2 weeks so I can wait it out if this is it....I would just like to know if I am in for an itchy 7 months.

I just found out from Yahoo answers that there are a number of milk ducts that emerge in a woman's nipple, not just one hole. But then one person seemed to be saying that milk ducts emerge from the whole area of the nipple. I thought it was just from the end face of the raised teat part of the nipple. I was thinking that person was probably wrong. Do the sides of the teat or the nipple area around the teat also have milk ducts emerging from them? Or is it generally one way and maybe there are also exceptions for some women?

I'm 37 weeks and 4 days pregnant so not long till he's due date.

Beginning of Thursday I've been getting the false contractions, about 4/5 a day. I know it's not much plus I've been getting menstrual cramps with them too.

But also getting menstrual cramps more frequently now and feel like my belly is aching.

So if my body is getting ready to give birth in a few weeks, does it mean soon or can this happen to anyone and anytime?

I have been babysitting these kids since july, first i started watching all 3 kids ages, 9-6-1. plus i have a 3 yr old and 9 month old. I watch these kids 7 days a week from 2-12am. Well now im only watching the 1 yr old monday-friday. but on the weekends i have all three. i only get paid 15 dollars a day for the 1 yr old and 25 dollars a day for all three. The one yr old is bad. biting my kids, hitting them, it is soo bad my 3 yr old is picking up the behavior. and im tired of it. the 1 yr old is also always sick and not had a bath in awhile. my kids are always getting sick. i want to quit but i dont know how to tell her. she is my husbands cousin. so he is related to the kids. Help!

Based on yahoo teen section . why arent parents teaching young kids about sex & demanding schools teach precom

Looking at the teen section and pregnancy section its bleedingly obvious that teenagers are starting to be sexaully active as young as 12, only being utterly clueless.

The the most common mistakes getting kids pregnant is not knowing about precome & how you can get pregnant when not having 'proper sex' but 'fooling around' or thinking puling out works or safe times of the month.

Its nothing to do with encouragement or peer pressure or the media.

People develop feelings, find someone they like, want to be close, kiss and go further due to hormones and needs, desires and love feelings

& would do so on some desert island with no magazines, TV, Films, sex ed, condoms, relgion or lack of it or peers pushing them.

The reason why none know about precome & sperm on fingers & morning after pills etc is they aint been told as it would involve covering 4play, bjs, finger

I love unique, (but not weird/never heard of) exotic pretty names like Aaliyah, Kimora, LoraLie, Lynnea, Naomi.. haha, but I can't decide on one!! My name is Monique and i always get told how pretty it is. I would love for it to be a Spanish origin name.

Soo here are a few different variations of a name that stuck that i liked so far spelt in different ways for a little girl, tell me what you think! And give me some ideas if you have any! =)

#1 AMELIA, AMALIA, AMELIYAH, (pronouned aw-muh-leigha)
#2 MALIA, MALEIGHA (muh-leigha)

(got it from aaliyah.. also tried putting a J or K in front of it)

I just got a message from a friend about a child she is babysitting was watching porn with his father. She doesnt know what to do. The dad doesnt know how to take care of the kids so thats obviously why she is there but the kid tries to touch her and is very rude. The mother already knows this happens.

I believe she should call CPS and get away because the father and son are very weird and I dont want her to get raped or anything. Im a mom myself and I couldnt imagine my son knowing so much about sex at that age!

Have you raised your cat to take car rides with you?
Just adopted an adorable kitten.
Would LOVE to train this cat from kittenhood to adulthood to ride in cars, take cat walks {on one of those cat leashes they sell}, and from the start {after all their shots/distemper,ect} give them occassional baths--not a lot of baths just maybe once a month
BACK TO CAR QUESTION THOUGH :o)
thanks

I was just wondering if your child has to actually commit a crime (e.g. theft) before you can legally put them there.

Well im a single mom at 19 and I get alot of negative attention from EVERYONE! I feel like I have to prove myself to other women who have kids who are much older than me. I have a harder time because im a full-time student taking 8 college courses I have a six month old who is blind and who also attends school which I have to supervise and Im going back to work.

Should I try so hard? I really want to finish school and obtain a well rounded education but this really ticks other moms off who are stay at home moms with little to no education.

My daughter is almost 6 years old she has been an only child and we just found out I am having a baby in May. She is really excited now but I know it will be different once the baby is here and she has to "share" me. I need to know some good ways to make her feel and know that she is not going to lose me or my love when the baby arrives. Because even if one of my friends brings over their baby and I hold it to long she wants me to put the baby down so she can sit with me.

I know that she will be an amazing sister once the newness wears off but I want to know the best ways to divide my time between her and the new baby.

I read that after you give birth, you should not drive a car for 2 weeks. Why would that be?
