What does it look like and where does it occur? I have an itchy stomach and back of my thighs. I can feel but not see any raised dots. Is this the start of P.U.P.P.P? And what does it stand for again?

I have my next appointment in 2 weeks so I can wait it out if this is it....I would just like to know if I am in for an itchy 7 months.

Okay I'm not sure what kinda rash I have either, I called my doctor and since I have an appoitnment on thursday and that I wasn't running a fever that I could wait just use benedryl cream and try to not scratch.
The nurse told me mine sounded like PUPP even though it was kinda early for it I'm 17 weeks, and dont think I can stand it for the rest of my pregnancy. And I agree with the nurse I had it with my daughter as well but started in wekk 36 with her.

It started with no bumps just really itchy skin on my tummy and thighs..Then with in the next two days I have this lovely red, dry rash on them. But thats the only places.

I would call the nurse line or drs office just to make sure b/c there are other things that are more serious that came cause pregnant woment o break out, shingles, liver problems allergic reactions, and see if the dr wants to see you before your appt just to make sure everything is fine.

Doesn't sound like you have PUPPP (see below). I just googled those intials and heaps of info came up. Sometimes in a first pregnancy especially the skin can get itchy from the sudden stretching and weight gain. I got a little like this in the beginning of my first but it went away. If it starts to really bother up try changing your appt for sooner otherwise just mention it next time.

Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy - PUPPP

From Heather Brannon, MD,
Your Guide to Skin & Beauty.

Pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy (PUPPP), also known as polymorphic eruption of pregnancy, is the most common rash in pregnant women. It normally occurs in first pregnancies during the third trimester with an average onset of 35 weeks. Thankfully, PUPPP does not usually affect subsequent pregnancies.

Appearance of PUPPP
The rash of PUPPP almost always begins in the stretch marks (striae) of the abdomen. It does not involve the belly button distinguishing it from other common rashes of pregnancy. The rash itself consists of small, red wheals in the stretch marks that grow together to form larger wheals on the abdomen. Sometimes the rash can include small vesicles. Over the next several days, the rash can spread over the thighs, buttocks, breasts, and arms.

well sometimes your skin just gets irritated and itchy during pregnancy but it is possible that it could be a pregnancy disorder called choelatis. My friend had this during both of her pregnancys and it is dangerous for mum and bub. It is a liver condition during the pregnancy which makes you extremely itchy, But saying that.. the only real way to find out and put your mind at ease is to ring the clinic and ask. Good luck with your babe

Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy - PUPPP
well, it is only supposed to set in twoards the 35th week, or third trimester. on average, it lasts 6 weeks, and just dissolves a few weeks after birth, but since you are still in the first trimester, (or so i believe) you might want to get it checked out. it isnt harmful, but may be very annoying. there are ointments available for it, so ask your doctor, he will be able to help you out.
