I can definitely say that my stepson (age 12) and I would not have gotten along. I was very much the tom boy and he's a rather sissy momma's boy. I probably would have pounded him in the ground.

My step daughter (age 6) is almost exactly like I was at her age so we probably would have either been best of friends or mortal enemies since we're so much alike.

My son is 16 months and is driving me crazy. My parents are having tons of fun with this... it's the parent curse! He's just like me! Mr. Busy and into everything!

This is a great question! I know me and my oldest daughter would get along, I'm fairly young as far as parents go and we spend a lot of time together. But my 8 year old would probably think me and her father were complete losers, shes really into sports as where neither of us ever has been. My 5 year old is very out going, so her and her father would have done fine, there a lot alike in most ways, I was a really quiet kid.

Lord only knows but I would like to think so. My daughter would have intimidated me a bit though if she and I were both kids. She is far more beautiful than I ever was and to top it off she is way better at everything from sports to academics than I was. She would be nice to me though as she doesn't seem phased by looks or smarts. Oh, and we would definitely get along better if we were kids hanging out. I am not here to be her best bud and she knows it.

I don’t have kids, but since I am a teacher I interact with many kids every day. I get along great with them cause I am still a kid and I will always be. Kids keep you in touch with your childhood.

I was very similar with my little girl in some ways, abut really different also. She 's extremely sensitive, and really attached to mommy, just like I was, but I was really shy and distant, and she's so happy and friendly, and outgoing. I would have loved to have such a cool friend when I was a kid!!! I think she would like me too. I would let her play with all my toys. Lol!

I think that my boyfriend and our son would have been best of friends, because they're exactly alike. Busy, curious, and constantly on the hunt to find out how everything works.

I don't think he and I would have been friends though, because I was shy, and ran with the other shy girls. :D

Great question, but I have no kids. I can tell you one thing though: the kid I once was would get along great with the kid I still am!

I would shy away from the kids of today. They have so much going on in thier lives, they have been exposed to so much more than I was at that age.
