I love unique, (but not weird/never heard of) exotic pretty names like Aaliyah, Kimora, LoraLie, Lynnea, Naomi.. haha, but I can't decide on one!! My name is Monique and i always get told how pretty it is. I would love for it to be a Spanish origin name.

Soo here are a few different variations of a name that stuck that i liked so far spelt in different ways for a little girl, tell me what you think! And give me some ideas if you have any! =)

#1 AMELIA, AMALIA, AMELIYAH, (pronouned aw-muh-leigha)
#2 MALIA, MALEIGHA (muh-leigha)

(got it from aaliyah.. also tried putting a J or K in front of it)

I like Amalia and Amelia too. Naom is gorgeous. I know why you are struggling to pick one! kimora and Loralie aren't as nice.
Just to confuse you more, here are some other suggestions....
Amara - means unfading and eternal (how meaningful is that for a new baby!)
Amari
Nadia
Allysia
Natashia
Anira
Jazliah

Hope that helps. Good luck deciding and congrats on the baby girl news!

I like Amelia better than Amalia or Ameliyah. Amalia is to monotonous with the 'a-a-a' and Ameliyah is just an attempt at originality with less than desirable results. I think most would pronouce it just like Amelia and the pronounciation you suggested is also less pretty imo. Also Malia I like better than Maleigha. I don't think Maleigha looks very pretty. You could go for Malene or even Maleigh as an option for Malia. If you like Spanish names check out the site below. One such suggestion would be Noemi, similar to Naomi.

*I'd just like to point out that unique means one of a kind. The names you suggested are exotic, but some arent even that uncommon [like Naomi]. Of course having a truly 'unique' name would mean that you'd have to make up your own consisting of a sufficient amount of unlikely letter combinations to avoid anyone ever coming up with the same name. Such as Kihgytrie. Not a very pretty name. :)

Why are you trying to make up a name for your kid when there are so many pretty ones around. Naomi is a beautiful name. It is unique and not overused like some of the popular names.

Tanikah (sort of pronounced tanee-ka)

could spell it in many different ways too!!

nicknames: nikki, taani, tiny
