He is about 18 days old today.

Is this normal? Could it be that his eyesight hasnt developed properly yet or could it be a sigh of autism?

Sorry i hope this isnt a daft question but its been worrying me. i have one daughter already but i seem to remember more eye contact with her.

I have a 1 month old and she has been up sine 9:30p.m. and has not went back to sleep. She has never done this before. Everynite at 10 i bathe her, feed her and shes off to sleep for the rest of the nite, but for some reason tonite she wont stay sleep. I did the same thing that i do everyother nite! She's swaddled and everything! i'm so tired! Should i just let her cry? Then maybe she'll fall asleep becasue at this point im so pissed off already!

so,woke up at 3.30am and havent been back to sleep since as i started getting stomach tightenings.
Ive been timing but they have been coming at all different rates
4 mins apart

7mins

And they have been carrying on like that all morning i think the longest break in between has been 14mins.
Now they arnt really painfull,i get a back pain first then a second or so later my whole stomach hardens for half a min and sometimes longer.
What are your opinions from your experience?im going to see my midwife in a bit but got to take my son to nursery 1st in a min.

My son is 7 1/2 months old and hates solids. He is so hard to feed. He will shake is head back and forth while blocking with his hands, and his lip are closed tight. And when you get some in there he spits most of it out. He also gags and sometimes throws up. I have tired rice, oatmeal, pears, banana, apples, sweet potato, carrots, peas, green beans, and some table food. Anyone have any advice?

I think (hope) I might be pregnant, but I'm not supposed to start my period for another 2 weeks! It is really hard having to wait to really know! I already have a lot of symptoms: overactive gag reflex, irritability, cramping, metallic taste in mouth, headaches, lower back pain, fatigue during the day, but I'm not TIRED at night, which is something everyone always says they are. Has anyone else had trouble falling asleep when they were in the really early stages of pregnancy?

I am 38 weeks pregnant with my first, a lil girl, and I know im close. I have false contractions, loads of pressure down there along with sharp pains, not as hungrey as much, and put it this way my body has been cleaning itself out "bathroom wise", i have lost my mucus plug, but im sure thats on its way too, but anyways, i wanted to know if anyone would know the average or most common week a first time mom goes into labor? thanks

My son is now 3 weeks old! He is such a little cutie pie. He sleeps most of the time and is such a quiet boy. I'm breastfeeding him so the only thing my hubby and I (we've been together since 1999) are spending money on is diapers and baby wipes. My hubby has a very stable job, and I am going to college (online finishing up my pre-med reqs), and we were wondering if one or two years was a good time to wait until we have another baby? We would really like to have another so our son could have someone to grow up with and play with. What do you think?

Isnt it so frustrating that so many of us are trying to fall pregnant,and yet where ever you go there seems to be endless amounts of pregnant women,or people with tiny babies?
It seems to be such a simple act until you want it to happen to you.
You count out all your days,do the act,wait in anticipation of the outcome........only to be dissapointed.Some days I could scream!!!!!Then all month hubby seems horny,until the crucial days....whats up with that???We lost a baby in August ,so he knows how much I really want to fall pregnant again(and I know thats what he wants as well).
It must be a good business to get into producing preggy tests and ovulation kits!!!!

She is due to go into hospital on wednesday for an operation on her eye what should i be doing to help her as she is lethargic and pale she has had this for 24 hrs now, i have given her this dehydration medicine to keep her nutrients up but she has only drunk about 2 sips. I will phone the doctor as soon as it is open. It is very scary as her poo is like water and very pale and very smelly.

I just had a baby almost 8 weeks ago. And of course I dont wanna get pregnant anytime soon. This is my second child. my daughter who will be 17 in 45minutes (30th) just informed me that she had committed a "Federal Felony" offence!! Over a 4 day period she deposited "empty" desposit env. and with drew cash, the total is over $1600!!!!
I have NEVER been as angry with my children as I am now. As you know (and this was confirmed by the bank) that because she's a minor, I'M RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CRIME AS WELL AS THE MONEY!!
I found out the boyfriend (who's 18) also did the same thing and even encouraged her. Needless to say he's GONE!!

part of me wanted to vent, the other part wanted to ask this question to see if I'm the only parent with a felon child...
