I am also diabetic! (not gestational)
its just that my Dr. always says that as soon as i get preg. i would have to take 2ce as much medication, and i HATE medicine. i believe in the natural ways.
everyone who knows this tells me that i'm crazy. that i should see a Dr. right-away. but what about how i feel?
what am i supposed to do????

My 15 y/o daughter is phone junky. Our family uses cell phones only and she uses mine during her phone time. Recently, she has been talking to boys that have been disrespectful to my wife and I and she is now forbidden to talk to them. Lately, she has been deleting call log entries to "cover" her tracks. I have been more than fair with her and I am at my wits end. She has become quite untrustworthy, is irresponsible and verbally abusive to her 6 siblings. I am usually an answer guy and now I need help. Anyone with suggestions (real ones from real parents), please help!!

My wife and I have decided that we are not comfortable with anyone babysitting our 4.5 mo old daughter. We are not sure when or if we will change our minds on this and it has really upset my parents. My wife used to work with sexually abused children before quitting to become a mom / housewife which I am sure has impacted our decision on this. I am afraid this will impact my relationship with my parents. Any advice?

I start to teach my 9 months baby to sign "milk", "mom" and "more" like 2 weeks ago, also I bought flashcards from www.sign2me.com, and some DVDs such as My Baby Can Talk, Baby Einstein, See n' Sign, and many more... Because I was really enthusiastic. But now, when I sign to her, she is just like "Yeah, whatever!" and she does not pay attention. I am about to quit. Can someone give me some tips and tell me about the first month of your own experience? Because everyone says "Consistency is the key" and when you hear the successfully stories of other moms that teach their sons, everything seems pretty easy. Is something wrong with my baby?

PS. I know that my grammar is horrible, English is my second language (-_- ' )! Thanks everyone for taking the time to answer to me...

You know which ones I mean, right? The Gerber ones that are a meat and a vegetable-- things like that.. My pre-pregnancy weight was about 130 lbs. At 31 weeks, I have gained 20lbs- about 150. I am 5'7" and still look pretty much the same...with just 9 weeks to go- I look like I am about 4 months instead of almost 8. People sometimes don't even NOTICE I am pregnant. It is irritating that everyone has to tell me I am so tiny, when I have gained 20 pounds. It's starting to worry me that I might not be normal.

I HAVE 5 YR. OLD WHO CAN SIT. I WAS TOLD BY HER TEACHER THAT HER ATTENTION SPAN IS GOOD THEN DROPS LIKE A LEAD BALLOON. Every name I like, he doesn't and the same goes for the names he likes. He thinks the names I like are "too out there" but the names he likes are boring in my opinion. Same goes with the middle names. He has 2 children for a previous marriage and they have middle names that are from his family and this is our first baby together and I would like one of my parents or grandparents name to be the middle. But again, he thinks they're weird. He and I are are very much like Dharma and Greg (me being Dharma) I'm very out there and he's very tradional and wants a tradional name...blah so boring lol. We're both so happy about this baby and we already make great parents for the 2 kids already but we just can't decide on a name. What should we do? I don't want to be calling my baby "Baby" forever.
