Mashed banana or pureed apple, peach, pear, mango, plum, apricot. Any soft fruit that is easily poached and pureed or mashed. Banana is obviously a favourite with all! but remember to give savoury food before sweet food or they will develop a taste for sweet and not eat savory.

Banana is usually the way to start introducing fruit. Depending on how many teeth he/she has you can then give other fruit: grapes, cherries, ripe pears, water and honeydew melon etc.. Give him/her a variety of fruit as part of their diet.
