I don't think you can brush her teeth for her, that's just not going to go down well with an eleven year old.
I would just leave it other kids will soon start to comment on her bad breath and yuk teeth.
Tell her not to breath on you her breath smells, get the rest of the family to do the same.
Don't let her give you a kiss tell her, her teeth look awful and you don't want them near you. sounds mean but she will soon get the message.
I hope anyway.
Good luck.

Have you tried one of those crest spin brushes? I like those for myself.
Yes, this is a battle for you to fight. Does the dentist have photos of people who haven't brushed their teeth? After a long period of time? Maybe the dentist needs to have an appt. with her (and you together) and show her the pics.
Has she had her teeth professionally cleaned by the dentist recently? That should be done every six months.
Maybe also have the dentist, and her dr., talk with her (you present as well) about the importance of clean teeth, etc. She needs to floss too. It is important, not just for her teeth and her mouth, and no bad breath, but also for her general health. jSo, if it comes down to it, you may need to brush and floss her teeth for her, till she decides to do it properly herself. Please start with the dentist, etc. first.
Take care.

I have the same problem with my sister.. no matter how much our family tells her to brush her teeth she just wont listen... sometimes her breath smells like poo and we all say what they hell is that smell... every time she is with me I tell her that I love her and I want her to be perfect.. first of all she is going to loose her teeth cause it will happen if she doenst brush..
tell her that she isnt going to have any teeth left is she keeps this up.. but its really hard to make someone do something they just don't want to do.. I would brush them myself but that wouldn't go well I bet..
This is really a hard one cause your making someone do something they don't want to do.. maybe Ground her if she doesn't brush and check her teeth every morning and night and if they arent clean then ground her for a day and so on!
Hope this helps.

I think that if she really refuses...just leave her. She'll realise that people don't like bad breath, and she'll start to care about what impression she gives people. Try comment on other's nice breath while she's around...like, get your husband or another family member to take a mint, and then smell their breath in front of your daughter...saying that they have nice breath, not 'dragon's breath' or something. Good luck!

i would not be doing it for her that is for shore i might be putting signs on the car as going to school for all the kids to see!
i would be saying things like no clean teeth no computer or TV or something that she is going to wont to use. and make shore they are done right, if they are not done then let her have access to the item but make it so that parts are off it or something like that like the TV make the leads out of the TV and not let her put them in..
Good luck

Go and buy her an electric toothbrush and threaten groundings and no pocket money / allowance if she doesn't do it twice a day. Stick to your guns if you do threaten a consequence. She needs to learn how to do it properly so don't do it for her and remind her every morning and night and watch if you have to.
