The only way to get rid of them is to not be pregnant! Theres women out there who can't even have children and here you are moaning about a few spots, get a hold of yourself.

You can try drinking water, vitaimns and facial wash and creams can help, but it happens during pregnancy and wont clear up to after you give birth (not right away either). You may have some days during pregnancy where it is better, but it comes and goes. Just try to focus on the good things about pregnant because for the next 40wks maybe more if you breastfeed your body does not belong to you anymore. It belongs to the baby and the hormones and whatever your else your pregnancy decideds to bring (like: hemorrhiods, water retention, gas......and the list goes on!)

By the way congratualtions! In the end no matter what you had to go through its SO worth it in the end. Oh enjoy your sleep NOW!!! Those 40wks will go by fast, sometimes it may not feel like especially towards the end, but it really does!

Omigod im the same!! Iv never had spots except when im pregnant an i hate it! I havnt bothered using any creams or lotions to get rid of them as i know they wont stay long! They wont last the full 9 mnths. Ul enter a "glowing period" around 13 weeks anthey'l disapear. Eat plenty of fruit an drink loads of water. This will help keep your skin clear. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy! x

I don't think there's anything other than the usual methods that you can try, it's just hormonal. I didn't have this with my first but now I'm pregnant with my second I've had some monster spots on my chin! Just keep them clean etc etc and I'm pleased to report that now I'm in my second trimester they seem to have cleared up. I'm 17 weeks now and they were gone by 12-14 weeks, so don't worry, you probably won't have them for 9 months! Just one of those lovely early symptoms to go with the morning sickness and the exhaustion!! In the meantime try treating yourself to a good concealer - I find MAC's to be really good.

Hi,
I never had spots except from when my period was due!
I get them on my face and chest, its a nightmare but theres not much you can do!

Higher levels of hormones can encourage the production of sebum - the oil that keeps our skin supple - and too much sebum causes pores to become blocked, resulting in greasy skin and spots.

Cleanse regularly with a gentle cleanser and use an oil-free moisturiser. If you prefer to avoid skin products, keep your skin fresh and clean by patting it dry rather than rubbing, so that you minimise the irritation to the acne. Don't use acne creams unless your GP advises you to do so. A few weeks after delivery, your skin should return to its pre-pregnancy condition.

Good Luck!

Unfortunatley that is one of the downfalls of being pregnant! Our hormones get all whacky and those of us who NEVER had breakouts previously get them. I found that getting a top of the line face cleanser set works pretty well. Try the Clinique or Proactiv. I use clinique and it helps a lot more then when I don't use it. I also only wear makeup maybe once a week and that seems to make it worse. Also, make sure you drink LOTS of water to keep your skin hydrated. Use a mask once a week to exfoliate the dead skin cells.

I hope things work out for you! Good luck.

I was the total opposite. I had the clearest skin and strongest nails and hair when pregnant. unfortunately it can be the luck of the draw. Try purchasing a good quality skin cleanser and toner and avoid sugary/fatty foods as the build up of oils can cause the break outs.

Best of luck. Hopefully when the hormones level out a bit it might go away.

unfortunatley there is no miracle cure for spots! during pregnancy you are more likely to develope spots due to hormone changes!
just keep your face clean and eat healthily this should help!
