OMG...
My best friends mom recomended that I try Castor Oil because it made her go into labor with all three of her kids. So we went on a wild goose chase to find the stupid Castor Oil and eventually found it. Lets just say that I can't go more than a quick running distance from my toilet! I have never felt so sick in my life and I swear that if I sit on that toilet one more time my rear end is going to start bleeding from the whole roll of toilet paper I have used.
HOW DO I MAKE THE DIARHEA STOP????? Oh I hope someone has an answer for me....I'm dying over here!

I did ask about the Castor Oil to more than enough people, and most of them said that it helped them out and a few of the other people just said it made them sick but they didn't elaborate.... But I think that I am beginning to understand what they mean!! I took it almost 4 hours ago and I am still running. Hopefully it will stop within 24 hours of taking that crap...

There is no need to be rude...
My OB said that it works for some and for others it doesn't but that it wouldn't hurt the baby.

Try eating some boiled potatoes with a bit of salt.. Also, sounds like you have taken maybe more then you should or your overly sensitive to it.. Usually castor oil does not help a woman with labor unless she is dilated... there maybe a reason your baby has not come yet...

In this forum on alternative fuel vehicles induction most often refers to a method of transferring electricity from one device to another without wires, caster oil is an alternative fuel, labor (labour) is part of an estimate along with material and we don't like to think of our labor induced by either electricity or caster oil as even with anti diarrhea (anti-dioreha) pills the sh!te is still likely to hit the fan. Within the environmental section you might find references to caster oil as an alternative fuel but most certainly someone would mention that it comes from one of the most deadly plants known. Caster plant beans are used to make the deadly poison ricin. At this point the suggestion that using some more "natural method" would be preferable to the cousin of a deadly toxin. There are other forums where the efficacy is discussed. I am struck with the thought those who say, "it worked," really are not offering any "proof" as things could have proceeded well without the help. We will never know. You will find some pros and cons in the cite below.

Sorry, but you have to let the castor oil let it self work out of your system. There is no other way.
And not to freak you out, but castor oil can have a negative effect on your body and if you do go into labour and the baby is not ready yet, you can have some implications.
(Why, oh why, do pregnant women want to try these things to induce labour?)

I'm sorry dear but there is nothing. I really wish you would have asked on the yahoo answers whether or not you should use castor oil before you did it. Almost all of us would have told you not to do it. The effects are awful and it does NOT work. Drink plenty of fluids. Good luck.

You should have just taken a light doze but as all this is now water under the bridge, suggest you use vaseline after each time in the toilet this will alleviate the soreness after the toilet paper have made your back raw.

I don't know where you live but you could try ringing the local poisons information centre to ask them? I know it sounds stupid but what you are looking for is something to reverse its effect.
(and ringing means you don't have to go anywhere yet).
You might have to front up to your local clinic or pharmacy to get some loperamide or Imodium, but I'm not sure if you can have this when you're pregnant (I think it's a risk-benefit thing in this situation - not generally recommended for pregnancy)

Wheew-wee!
My first wife also took a pint of Castor's finest.
Diareah lasted right on up until the birth of Evan.
Maybe a little afterwards...
Sure am glad to be a MAN!

You silly silly silly girl!! I wish you had asked if it was a good idea first as you would have been told NO!!!!!
Try eating banana's and breads to stop your diarhea. Drink loads of water too because you are going to get dehydrated on top of everything else.
Hope fully the effects will only be temporary (like a couple of hours at most!)

mix corn flour & water into a paste and drink it. Doesn't taste real good but it works.
Don't use too much, about 1/2 inch in a glass will do it.
