Sample of (cloudy) urine to Dr came back with bacteria but no white cells in it, so they wanted repeat. Baby has lost 3 ounces over last 2 weeks when usually puts on about 8 ounces. Slightly more sleepy than usual, totally breast feeding usually very settled but has become fractious when feeding, pulling off and crying as if in sudden pain. Could be teething but dont think this is the cause. Bowel actions seem healthy. Baby clingy but otherwise still smiles and makes happy noises.

Do you really think we wouldn't have been to the Dr? Have been to Dr twice and health visitor and just feel fobbed off.

it sounds as though its an infection but i agree with the other person that said go to A +E they will sort him out straight away the feeding problems with the pulling away sound a bit like teething to me and i dont think they are related to the other problem .remember your his mummy take control of the situation and get him seen if you feel he is not right.xxxxxxx

Your baby maybe fighting an infection. Also, has he been immunised lately? Sometimes the baby can be effected by their immunisation shots. Another thing to consider, he could have a bladder infection. Can you give him extra fluids - i.e. more breastmilk and maybe introduce some cooled boiled water in his diet in between feeds?
Do you clean carefully around the crotch region also? Have a look and give him a good and gentle clean if you haven't already.
It's not easy knowing what's going on with your baby when something different happens! All the best.

That sounds like a nasty infection.

If you are feeling fobbed off by Health Visitor and Doctor, take him to A&E, thats what I did with my son. I know it sounds like over reaction but you have to get to the bottom of whats wrong.

Sounds like an infection, after the results come back GP will probably give your little boy antibiotics.

HOPE HE'S BETTER SOON
